Mr Bulent is without a doubt the key foundation at Peter Barry , and we held every confidence with them due to his presence and conduct. The viewing to completing contracts was as easy as 1.2.3. David was super helpful in giving us all the information we need specially being a first time buyer. He was very accommodative when ever we wanted to see the property and always ready to help. Having had experiences with others agents in the area safe to say that Middletons went above and beyond our expectations. Paul was very proffesional when valuing our property and managed expectations well. And Julie and the team are very efficient and fantastic with keeping you update step by step. Buying or selling a house can be so stressful, but the team at Middletons made our journey a lot easier and we are forever grateful for that. If we could give 6 stars, we would!

From the first time we visited the office to advise of our desire to move from our existing agent, through to them taking over the management of my property, the whole process was painless. Communication was great, we were always kept in the loop during each stage of the transition. Seamless is the only way that the service can be described. Nothing was ever too much trouble when calling, each of the team being extremely good and conscientious whenever we called and all matters were dealt with rapidly and efficiently. Dealing with the team certainly changed my mind on that there is lot more to selling a house than it just appearing on "Right Move". Thanks to you all and I would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone wanting sell or purchase a home through you. 5 Stars all the way.
9th Apr 2024 (30 days ago)Julie was a delight to deal with and I am sure she would have been tenacious and got the deal through smoothly if a buyer had been found. Drawback 1 was made clear to us at the outset but we did not appreciate the importance of them being a franchise i.e. each branch is out for themselves rather than a sharing attitude of a nationwide company. Drawback 2 ...Victoria was very professional and assured us she would do all of our viewings. This happened for approx 3 months, after that Julie did them and we literally heard nothing from Victoria again it seemed to us that she had lost interest. Every potential buyer (16 viewings) gave the same feedback.....parking, but Winkworth did not seem to be proactive about addressing this with buyers. Our eventual selling agent only managed to do 2 viewings, both parties offered and neither mentioned parking. I appreciate that we reduced the price when we changed agents but the parking 'problem' didn't magically disappear.
18th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
