17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

9th Oct 2024 (27 days ago)We found that all the staff at Wood & Pilcher's Heathfield branch were extremely helpful & kept us up to date with the progress of our sale & chasing other agents & solicitors. Had lots of viewings & they did exactly what they said they would do. All the feedback from the viewings was available straight away. I would recommend them to anybody. Good value for the money. Brilliant service.

Tom Hogger in particular has been a great help in sorting out our mortgage for our new house, securing us a lower rate whilst we waited to exchange and getting our offer extended when we faced delays in our chain. Can't thank them enough for helping us through this stressful time and would highly recommend to anyone needing a mortgage broker!
11th Oct 2024 (25 days ago)Absolutely terrible service, don’t know what they are doing, push you to the point where you get frustrated with them, then they use that as a reason to be rude on the phone. Advert said communal parking…..now being told it’s allocated, which is fine but the lady was very rude about it. Had to chase the inventory twice a week for a month…. Then it said a window was working that was not…. Before we rented the building we were promised someone would contact us to repair a hole in the wall….guess what NOTHING had happened. I will not be using this company again it’s just the worst

Long experience in the area, an excellent understanding of the market and the importance of personal service make them a pleasure to deal with. Nothing is too much trouble.

13th Oct 2024 (23 days ago)I’d previously been on the market with another agent for 3 months and hadn’t sold, so I decided to give Crane & Co a try. A bit more expensive than other agent’s commission rates but well worth it! I had an open day and sold within days! I can highly recommend this company for their services and the marketing of your home. The images and video presentation was brilliant. Amy initially dealt with my sales progression however after going on maternity leave I was smoothly handed over to Lynn, who was an absolute star!! The communication was timely and kept me up to date, sometimes on an hour by hour basis! If you’re thinking of using an agent, this is the one to use! Thanks to all involved.

6th Sep 2022 (2 years ago)Keen enthusiastic and friendly staff badly let down by corporate rules and an inflexible IT/software setup which did not enable them to present the property as we wanted. They did get viewings but not many of them were suited to the property age or needs wise. We also didn't like the hard sell 'upgrade' charges they tried to foist on us at the point of signing up, or the never before heard of extortionate 'uplift' commission for a sale over the asking price which was not pointed out to me, and I got them to cancel. Very corporate and money grubbing. - not the fault of the lovely staff.

Fantastic service, they were very approachable throughout the the process of renting and were available for any queries and questions. Highly recommended and the best commercial agency in town - we wouldn't use anyone else.

We've used several, and it was by far the smoothest and nicest experience we've had! We had a simple chain that got tricky really fast but they managed to pick up the phone, chase bits regularly and email back promptly! (even during staff annual leave) Communication and the friendly nature of everyone were the main reasons we got the chain over the line! Thank you from both of us!

They always give 100% when transforming and styling spaces and take time to adjust minute details to allow properties to look their best. On top of that they have great personalities and look after those working with them and their customers. Thomas is an expert and his knowledge is so extensive which enables all options to be considered and his advice and guidance has been invaluable. His back office team are highly effective & efficient and Adele has been a fantastic support throughout our sales process too. Best decision we made was to instruct Neville & Neville to sell our beloved home.

I would have given five stars but the portal did not update when there were viewings booked but the sales process part was very helpful The photographer they used was also very good and the pictures were excellent
