(I have bought n sold ten houses since 1999. )what made me choose …. Mr Mathew Miller came to the property spent two hours talking things through.. His advise was factual and professional.. it was in My favour as the vendor as opposed to quick sale lowering price for a quick sale in the estate agents favour. Mr Miller was diplomatic in guiding me to the right price for the current market. For those who care to listen ..he knows his stuff!!!! The team at Okehampton sadly …I couldn’t find a word better than excellent so that will have to do. They always made time to contact me at their earliest opportunity . ..If they were out. No question or comments were ignored always just right in their communication skills. An absolute delight to work with such nice , diligent professionals. But Luna the chocolate brown spaniel X helped to confirm my choice ????. As they show you which are the best humans to work with. My best wishes to the team and with lots of gratitude for all that they did to ensure a stress free and professional service. WM

15th Apr 2024 (23 days ago)We have just completed a very lengthy purchase (no fault of Colwills) of a new build. Gail, who was our main contact, has been absolutely amazing throughout the whole process and always took the time to update us, even when the news wasn’t so positive. She and the rest of the Colwills team are professional and friendly and make you feel like nothing is too much trouble. If we need an Estate Agent in the future it will 100% be Colwills.

8th Apr 2024 (30 days ago)Offer to buy a house was accepted and it was up to our surveyors to highlight a Grade 2 listing. Whilst Knight Frank ‘empathise’ we are at considerable out of pocket expense. Property now correctly advertised as listed and whatever the background of who claims what, the agent is expected to have carried out due diligence to confirm facts of what they are marketing. Knight Frank Exeter blame their customer and empathise with potential buyer where legislation states an agent must disclose all information before costs related to surveying or conveying are undertaken. However, this shoddy outfit shirk all responsibility; what a reflection of where we are in todays world. Referring to ombudsman as customer service are running on pastoral ‘empathy’ rather than address a problem where potential buyers remain considerably out of pocket. Our contract was with Knight Frank and their codes of ethics and standards where due diligence is the foundation. The Exeter office has failed miserably to address their duty of professional responsibility. Buyers (and sellers) beware! (investigation response was that "we didn't know, not out fault") With a pending county court claim all is resolved!

25th Jan 2024 (15 weeks ago)Mark Kivell and his team, were brilliant from the beginning to the end whilst dealing with the sale of our Orchard and business. The initial valuation was very professional, yet friendly, and the fact that he had previously sold an Orchard a few years ago, to the fantastic drone footage, and feedback from him as well as his wonderful team. Even in these financially hard times, they achieved an above asking price offer, which proceeded very smoothly to the end. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you, all.
29th Oct 2023 (6 mo. ago)Cannot fault Stags from the moment of putting the property on the market to completion. We were kept informed every step of the way from viewings to offers and were always given good advice. Stags were willing to go the extra mile by checking on the property as we live some hours away and they even did the final meter readings for us - most appreciated! The staff were always welcoming whether in person or over the phone and we would highly recommend them.

26th May 2022 (1 year ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. I can’t think of any faults, they were informative with clear communication as well as being kind and supportive. Special shoutouts to Becky and Holly who I felt gave such a personal approach it felt like I was working with a friend. We viewed about 5 other properties before speaking with bond oxborough and I can confidently say that bond oxborough offer much more of a friendly and professional service.
