15th Apr 2024 (23 days ago)We rented through Q for a number of years. All problems were resolved by the Landlord. When we moved out they withheld our deposit for no reason and even when Deposit Protection found in our favour still kept items on the check out form. I ended up paying a fraction of what they demanded and should have had more back but they refused to take some items off even though they confirmed it was not my responsibilty. BEWARE

During what can be a stressful time with multiple parties involved we felt most informed and communicated with by John Hilton. They also produced very good marketing materials for our property. Would recommend if you’re selling in the Brighton area, in particular Marius was fantastic.

2nd May 2024 (6 days ago)Buying a house through Weatherill's in Hangleton has been a very pleasant and all round positive experience. The team are one of the most pleasant I've ever dealt with. Emma was superb on every level. Just the most pleasant and efficient person I've had the pleasure of dealing with. Nothing was ever too much trouble and Emma was very patient. Kevin and the wider team were great too. I always felt like they were in control of the process, made communication effortless and always answered the phone/emails and called back fast. Very pleased to have now exchanged and moving in to our new family home next week. Thank you for such a great service!

Relocating to Brighton can be quite stressful for me, especially when it comes to finding housing. Fortunately, Anya helped us find an ideal place for me and my daughter and guided us through the necessary steps. She was incredibly helpful. I highly recommend her services with a 5-star rating!
26th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)Not happy with the current slow service with the flat I'm trying to buy. I'll be withdrawing my other rental property which they're managing and I bought from fox and son due to the current slow service. Not happy!!! And no loyalty.

Despite Lextons representing the Vendors our interactions with Josh and Tara were always met with professionalism and fairness. They both persevered throughout the process to ensure a positive outcome for their clients and ourselves as the buyers. Throughout the process they were both effective communicators and resilient with challenges which they worked towards overcoming. We would consider using Lextons as our agents should we be looking to sell our current property in the future. Thanks Josh and Tara.
18th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

From each step of the sale they were faultless with their communication (via email & telephone calls), it's very rare these days to experience this level of customer service. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Cox & Co......great advice throughout, easy to talk to, professional estate agents who know their customers requirements. Five star!!!!! Thanks Gemma

27th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)Eightfold is poorly run, with a lack of honesty, integrity and an incredible lack of any concern and respect for their tenants. Eightfold represent all the worst traits of lettings agents. I'm amazed this company get any good reviews at all. Not surprising that most of the good reviews are from landlords and ALL the bad ones from tenants. If you are a tenant, my advice would be to steer well clear of this revolting company if at all possible.
