20th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)Do not recommend. They were ok at beginning of tenancy as they want to make money Ofc. But extremely difficult at end of tenancy. They tried to take my deposit for things I was not responsible for such as a faulty boiler (which I reported months before I handed in my notice). They were aware of this as they provided the inventory. Very difficult and rude admin personnel. Avoid. Avoid.
20th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)We recently letted a house through Frank Innes. From the start they were very welcoming, offering me a viewing to a property. When at the house viewing, and after finding it wasn’t quite for us, Rebecca suggested another property that would be more our fit - this property wasn’t yet on the market but she offered us a viewing. On arrival to the second property it was perfect, Rebecca was open and honest about potential issues with the property in regards to our needs (small garden, on street parking etc). This was greatly appreciated as we felt well informed and cared for, and not for a second that she was only there to get another property off the market like some agents. After going forward with the property Rebecca made the process easy, with clear communication and liaising with the landlord we move in two very happy people.

10th Jan 2024 (17 weeks ago)Deeply frustrated with the prolonged tenancy transfer process and the unaddressed fob key malfunction. Despite three months of back-and-forth emails, my concerns were not adequately handled. Don’t recommend this to anyone.

The honesty and advice given was tremendous and extremally helpful to my wife and I. Would recommend their services and will use when i decide to move. A very positive company and very professional approach. Ellie was excellent yesterday also, prior to the to visit great advice before the visit took place. Big thanks

Even though we didn't find our new home with them, all the staff were very helpful to us. Especial thanks to Claire of Wollaton office. I cant thank you enough.
9th Apr 2024 (30 days ago)If I could give a lower rating I would. To start, for the year+ we lived in a property rented via Rex gooding we lived in damp, that bad I became ill and had to visit my GP costing time out side of work. When we tried to raise this with them it was brushed of or they would send a ‘handy man’ to simply ‘look’ at the problem NOTHING was resolved and told to just clean it! They sent a team to fit an extractor fan for the bathroom but then we discovered 9 months down the line they had decided to pull out of that. There ‘inspections’ are someone Turing up and taking pictures of the house and leaving, completing ignore the black walls from damp. We were told that our emails would be passed to the correct account holder for our property, Stewart, and they would contact us. He never did. When we decide to leave the property due to health reason, this experience was disgusting. We left the property in better condition than when we arrived and was faced with a battle to get our deposit back which was £900+. I have only just received it back and we have been out of the property 6 weeks! When I contacted Rex Gooding they were not at all helpful, I was told it was not there problem and they couldn’t do anything about it and that it’s with DPS to sort. Even though they were the ones who could not contact the landlord to request it back, when I asked to speak to Stewart he always seemed to going out and would call me back, he never did, therefore I had to chase them and he would not want to talk to me. In the end I had to go legal to get my deposit back. I would avoid this agency at all costs!! Photos of the damp attached.

17th Apr 2024 (22 days ago)I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the services provided by Ashley Adams estate agents. My experience has been nothing short of appalling, and I feel compelled to write this review. * Despite numerous attempts to contact Molly, I have received no response. The lack of communication and unresponsiveness have caused unnecessary stress and frustration. * As a customer, I expected timely and professional communication throughout the process, but unfortunately, this has not been the case. * Handling of the sale was done inappropriately, quick to take the deposit but no support afterwards. * Travis didn't stick to his words of 'I'll collate all the information and get back in touch'. * I was informed by Travis that the holding deposit fee would be returned if the deal with the property fell through, which it did for reasons that are legally acceptable. However, it is now approaching almost 3 months, and I have not received the refund. This delay is unacceptable, and I demand immediate action to rectify the situation which I can’t see happening any time soon.
19th Apr 2024 (20 days ago)we have completed today thanks to Abbie and her team at Whitegates Heanor. We chose Whitegates after speaking to a few agents. Abbie was very professional and friendly , giving us useful advice for our straight forward sale of our home. Honest and realistic valuation led to a sale within a week. Excellent communication throughout the transaction with all the team. Well done Whitegates! We would recommend to anyone thinking of selling.

18th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
28th Apr 2024 (11 days ago)Initial valuation was very good. House sold within 5 days of being on market. Got told by office that initial offer was good & there wasn't any other interest. Considering it was only 4 days in, I wasn't happy with that. I managed to get a little more from the buyers. Otherwise happy with service. The cost included the solicitors fees & I was told that Wigwam would do all the chasing with them. Only time will tell.

He has been superb in the sale of our house and went above and beyond to ensure that our sale went ahead. From the beginning to the end he has had a positive outlook. On our viewings he was bright and bubbly and ensured that the viewers were made aware of the benefits of our property,. When we eventually agreed a sale we had a long process due to the fact that the buyers held up matters, however Rhys would always be pressing to try and speed up the process and always kept us up to date and informed. At one stage our buyer went abroad, Rhys was on calls to our buyer at 1030 at night trying to deal with their queries in an attempt to push our sale through. We can’t thank Rhys enough for what he did for us. He is a real credit to his trade and we would throughly recommend using him to friends and family. Again thank you Rhys Henry
2nd May 2024 (7 days ago)Maintenance issues sorted efficiently along with very supportive lettings team. Maintenance team has been top notch, swiftly resolving any issues, whilst the lettings team has provided great support throughout the renting process. Highly recommend for their efficiency and helpfulness.
