Always professional, even when it gets stressful, Helen was a godsend and was always at the end of the phone when we needed her. We would highly recommend them to anyone.
8th Apr 2024 (30 days ago)Offer to buy a house was accepted and it was up to our surveyors to highlight a Grade 2 listing. Whilst Knight Frank ‘empathise’ we are at considerable out of pocket expense. Property now correctly advertised as listed and whatever the background of who claims what, the agent is expected to have carried out due diligence to confirm facts of what they are marketing. Knight Frank Exeter blame their customer and empathise with potential buyer where legislation states an agent must disclose all information before costs related to surveying or conveying are undertaken. However, this shoddy outfit shirk all responsibility; what a reflection of where we are in todays world. Referring to ombudsman as customer service are running on pastoral ‘empathy’ rather than address a problem where potential buyers remain considerably out of pocket. Our contract was with Knight Frank and their codes of ethics and standards where due diligence is the foundation. The Exeter office has failed miserably to address their duty of professional responsibility. Buyers (and sellers) beware! (investigation response was that "we didn't know, not out fault") With a pending county court claim all is resolved!

We originally found our first home through Mathers 5 years ago, and we had no doubt about going back to them. Trafford kept us up to date at all times, and we really appreciate his hard work. 17th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)Would recommend Bradley's- attentive, friendly staff with a good knowledge of the local area and the market at this time- 20th Apr 2024 (18 days ago)Rude and arrogant, told I would have to pay a 700 mortgage fee upfront, when I balked they withdrew the fee. Told I could not view on Saturday cos of negotiators day off. If you don't use thier financialn advisor they will screw you over. Told I was in no position to make an offer, when I own five other properties and a local business. Penzance is the branch I had issues with. Just a rude and arrogant outfit. Totally fee orientated, zero customer service skills.

18th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

The valuation was 'spot on' and communication throughout the whole process, from beginning to end, was first rate. Sound advice was given with care and consideration at 'tricky' moments in the process; this allayed fears and reduced stress! Thank you again to you all.
20th Sep 2022 (1 year ago)Not very happy with the way Kerb Apealz dealt my property as the floorplan room sizes were incorrect and took over a week to correct after I took the room sizes myself and gave them to agent.
25th Dec 2023 (19 weeks ago)Pilkingtn Estates were the first firm to give us an estimate incorporating a range of prices which could influence how rapidly the property achieved a sale. Their descriprion of the prooperty was entirely positive with no sense olf overselling it to potential buyers.
