24th Apr 2024 (25 days ago)Defensive, uncooperative and plain rude in some cases. Not to mention charging excessive amounts for admin fees most agencies wouldn’t come close to. Please avoid especially if you are a tenant. Unsurprisingly most of their 5 star reviews look fake.

Given the emotional nature of buying/selling properties it is essential to have a calm, persuasive agent who finds practical solutions to problems that arise - James frequently demonstrated all these qualities. I do not hesitate recommending his services to others. They offer fantastic value.
14th Sep 2018 (5 years ago)Very poor experience with this office. Terrible service stemming from terribly poor management. I have had my offer accepted by the vendor nine (9) months ago and contract exchange has not yet taken place! Still ongoing. Branch manager Andrew Wallington who should be dealing with the project, continuously on leave and taking days off. Just a general lack of involvement. Even incompetence has its limits. I have had to personally chase for updates for the majority of the 9 months with Mr Wallington's colleagues, who of-course scarcely know what is going on. Finally, I have come to a position where I am forced to bow out. Having already raised this issue with the Regional Manager- Jacqui White. Her response was essentially it is a "busy office", there are no "notes on the system" to confirm [my] complaints and if you remain dissatisfied, refer your complaint to the customer relations manager. I will now be taking this up with the The Property Ombudsman. I certainly will not be contacting Haart for any further dealings and would recommend this office only as one to avoid.
8th Apr 2024 (6 weeks ago)I'd like to thank the Readings Property and Liz in particular for helping us to find the house of our dreams. It was a challenge, moving cities with two small kids, but Liz was so accommodating and helpful at every stage from the viewing to getting the keys. Thank you!
16th Feb 2024 (13 weeks ago)Arranged a viewing with my partner for 6pm. Called several times to confirm viewing as we were travelling over an hour away and never showed up. Stuck around for 20 minutes just to give the benefit of the doubt. Tried calling several times and no answer either. Time and petrol wasted thanks to this estate agents. Incredibly unprofessional!! Update; we arrived at 5:30 and stayed until 6:30pm. Yes, we knocked a few times and clearly no one was at home. We attempted to call the office and there was no answer. We left a note and the tenant eventually called us. Regardless of who is supposed to show us around, the estate agents are the ones managing the sale of the property. In the time we were scheduled to have our viewing and when we actually got to see the property, we placed an offer elsewhere.

Ed was our Estate Agent for our House Purchase and given we were first time buyers, he went over and above to get everything over the line and took time to explain it all to us. Thanks again for all your help!

30th Apr 2024 (19 days ago)Me and my sister would like to say a massive thank you to Hannah Grant (Branch Coordinator, Residential Lettings), who recovered a final rent payment which was due to us. The tenant was refusing to pay!!! Hannah had to deal with a rude tenant that was clearly in the wrong. Although the tenant did eventually apologise and agreed to pay the rent, we are sorry that Hannah had to go through this and appreciate everything she did to get the matter resolved. Many thanks again Hannah Grant!!!
