Shari lead our process and was fundamental in making the process as smooth as possible, even when changes occurred or plans changed. Shari worked with both sell & buy side solicitors to speed up the process and make sure everyone was happy.
28th Feb 2024 (12 weeks ago)Terrible service. Failed in the basic- checking source and availability of funds of buyer. Left us out of pocket by many thousands of pounds when at exchange the buyer had no funds. Failed to follow their own complaints procedure by ignoring our emails.
4th Jan 2024 (20 weeks ago)DO NOT RECOMMEND After living 7 years in a property, questmap has tried to keep our deposit to make a refurbishment on our account. Glad we have won a dispute with DPS. Obviously, wear and in tear after 7 years is significant, but trying to earn on your loyal tenants is low. I will never recommend the agency to any of my friends again. Agent Nick was very disrespectful, sometimes rude and left very bitter after effect. I have never in my life felt so upset after speaking to a person. DO NOT RECOMMEND

13th May 2024 (7 days ago)I have to say Cornell’s have been amazing through out our house sale. It proved far trickier than we could have thought when we embarked on this - several sales fell through, through no fault of the estate agent and they helped manage the house and its belongings, as I was selling from a distance. They went over and above to keep me informed as to what was going on and when there was a difficult situation only 2 days before completion, they handled it with absolute professionalism and care. Many thanks in particular to Claire, who was outstanding. When things are going well, estate agents just do their job, but there are not many that really put themselves out like this office has, when something unforeseen happens!! I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

19th Apr 2024 (4 weeks ago)Henshaw Fox was not an agent known to me and their premises are not on the main shopping street of the town BUT they are all very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They kept us in the loop at all times even when we away from home. They quickly had all marketing completed for on line sites and photos available.

17th Dec 2021 (2 years ago)We recently purchased a property through Savills that should have been a smooth process based on a small chain however for various reasons outside our or the buyers control it was far from it. Hayley was an angel and acted to keep our sellers calm and ensured we finally reached a completion date. Would absolutely return to Savills if we are brave enough to move again in the future!

22nd Apr 2024 (28 days ago)I have been working with Lindsay Johnn for almost a year on the sale of my mother's house. I live in California, and the house was in probate and other agents and lawyers kept telling me how many potential complications I was likely to run into, but when I met Lindsay, instead of worrying me, she reassured me and filled me with confidence! Yes, of course we ran into a couple of problems, but Lindsay always met us with solutions even before she told us what the problem was!???? To say she is cool under fire is an understatement. Her customer service was second to none. As I said, I live in California, and if I emailed her in the evening my time she wouldn't just email me back when she woke up, she would call me the next morning on my way to work! As I said, the house was in probate, so it required a long period of time before exchange of contracts and completion, which required strong negotiation skills on her part, and she got us what we needed! I only met Lindsay once in person, and I only regret that I wasn't able to work more with her in person, as apart from being a wonderful estate agent, she is a lovely person too! If you don't retain Lindsay to buy or sell you a house, you are missing out! Dominic Fergus-Bentall
15th May 2024 (5 days ago)I wanted to take the time to thank every one at sparks Ellison for the sale and purchase on our perfect home ! Our journey started with Chris who came out and valued our property . His knowledge and professionalism didn’t go unnoticed , and more importantly his patience , understanding that family comes first - allowing me time to meet the needs of my young children during the valuation . Next we met Frazier - Frazier has been incredible going above and beyond at every stage . Wether that be house viewings - allowing plenty of time for myself and husband to look around. His knowledge of every property we viewed was outstanding ,he really took the time to understand our priorities (schools- outdoor space )with our search . And of course that led to him finding our perfect home !!!!! He kept us updated with every viewing we had on our house . Like I said previously he just went above and beyond in every way - we can’t thank him enough . Everyone says that selling/ buying a house is one of the most stressful things you will do ….. however this couldn’t be further from the truth !!! The whole process was seamless - it felt like it happened with out me or my husband having to lift a finger . I could go on on ….. however I will leave it there with a huge thank you !!!!!!

Viewers even before we went online, offers within the first week, superb negotiation, even better negotiation after the results of the buyers survey (!). Great after sale care. Excellent value for money- saved us many thousands during the renegotiations in fact. Put our needs first. Cannot recommend highly enough. 10/10

19th Jun 2020 (3 years ago)Terrible service, from people who are not attentive and do not care. had to sell the house privately and then then went legal for a fee they did not earn, as they had taken the house off rightmove etc and did not keep in contact with the buyer, lawyers or anyone. Lesson is to read the fine details of estate agents contracts
