28th Feb 2024 (12 weeks ago)Terrible service. Failed in the basic- checking source and availability of funds of buyer. Left us out of pocket by many thousands of pounds when at exchange the buyer had no funds. Failed to follow their own complaints procedure by ignoring our emails.
14th May 2024 (5 days ago)Connells were great, worked really hard during the whole process of buying our new house. They were easy to communicate with and really helpful. On the day of moving in there were some complications, through no fault of connells, however Dan, Hobbie and Chloe worked tirelessly to sort it! Very happy with them.

4th May 2024 (15 days ago)Keep getting useless newsletter and other emails. Clicked unsubscribe, still getting them. Contacted Your Move and they say you have to contact the branch. Contacted the branch twice and they still won't stop sending me emails. Have reported to ICO now
26th Apr 2024 (23 days ago)Talitha provides a very professional and friendly service. She found a new tenant within days of instructing her. We are abroad at the moment and we left her to sort out a painter and decorator and she also managed to get a replacement carpet fitted at a very very competitive price and in super quick time. We would highly recommend.- 13th May 2024 (6 days ago)I have to say Cornell’s have been amazing through out our house sale. It proved far trickier than we could have thought when we embarked on this - several sales fell through, through no fault of the estate agent and they helped manage the house and its belongings, as I was selling from a distance. They went over and above to keep me informed as to what was going on and when there was a difficult situation only 2 days before completion, they handled it with absolute professionalism and care. Many thanks in particular to Claire, who was outstanding. When things are going well, estate agents just do their job, but there are not many that really put themselves out like this office has, when something unforeseen happens!! I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

17th Dec 2021 (2 years ago)We recently purchased a property through Savills that should have been a smooth process based on a small chain however for various reasons outside our or the buyers control it was far from it. Hayley was an angel and acted to keep our sellers calm and ensured we finally reached a completion date. Would absolutely return to Savills if we are brave enough to move again in the future!

15th May 2024 (4 days ago)I wanted to take the time to thank every one at sparks Ellison for the sale and purchase on our perfect home ! Our journey started with Chris who came out and valued our property . His knowledge and professionalism didn’t go unnoticed , and more importantly his patience , understanding that family comes first - allowing me time to meet the needs of my young children during the valuation . Next we met Frazier - Frazier has been incredible going above and beyond at every stage . Wether that be house viewings - allowing plenty of time for myself and husband to look around. His knowledge of every property we viewed was outstanding ,he really took the time to understand our priorities (schools- outdoor space )with our search . And of course that led to him finding our perfect home !!!!! He kept us updated with every viewing we had on our house . Like I said previously he just went above and beyond in every way - we can’t thank him enough . Everyone says that selling/ buying a house is one of the most stressful things you will do ….. however this couldn’t be further from the truth !!! The whole process was seamless - it felt like it happened with out me or my husband having to lift a finger . I could go on on ….. however I will leave it there with a huge thank you !!!!!!
20th Apr 2024 (29 days ago)I had 3 issues that came up at the same time, the oven stopped working, a window latch broke and I had a leak in the bathroom. The workers arrived the very next day and he reset the oven, fixed the leak and replaced the window catch. As usual Belvoir maintenance Dept. were extremely helpful, professional and very efficient. I have got to know the Letting Team very well over the years and I cannot praise them enough. I have had ongoing health issues and they, in their usual professional manner have bent over backwards to accommodate various requests made by me. I would describe the team as very professional, empathetic, courteous, efficient, cheerful and always kind.

They managed well dealing with a probate situation, incompetent solicitors and Christmas timetables. The sales team were sensitive to uncomfortable situations and their closure team was tenacious and undertook the necessary steps to keep the momentum going. I would easily recommend them and wish them all the best with their future sales. It's nice to have a local company deal in their local area of expertise, rather than dropping in from afar.

Ceri is excellent with tenants, and very proactive, which minimises our involvement, although anything major is always discussed with us. if there are any questions to which we need answers, Ceri has virtually always replied the same day, and sometimes within seconds or minutes of being asked! A real treasure! Tony and Sue Rogers.

Although it was a tough market, they were incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the process; checking the house when asked and letting in gasmen etc as required. They also kept us well informed and were unfailingly polite.

18th Mar 2024 (9 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
