23rd May 2024 (15 weeks ago)Bit strange, as my sister applied for a rental property and I was to be the guarantor they denied my application even though my payslips were valid? Stating I earn half the salary I put down? They advised me that home let denied my application but they were Lieing as home let has written it in email stating the above. MILLIE I think her name is the, she has been dealing with me on two occasions and for some reason both applications have been denied and then compulsively Lieing to me and my family. To be honest she’s bad reputation to the company. She doesn’t even know left from right let alone a guarantor. Would not recommend this company at all I don’t know if it’s racial profiling but to be honest it feels like that. Would advise people to stay away!

Did not listen to us about sale price, sent people who couldn’t afford the mortgage, poor quality feedback, not making appointments at requested times, even phoned 2 days after we had moved to see if we had exchanged!DO NOT USE THEIR AUCTION SERVICE!were on the verge of changing agents when we struck lucky thanks to Covid!

We had very good advice and were guided through the process without a hitch. During the time from valuation to completion we were kept informed in a timely and efficient manner. The property was sold very quickly. Photographs were very good and realistic pricing. From start to finish we are very pleased and would have no hesitation in using Kimmitt & Roberts again. Tracy was very helpful as were the other branch staff.

Whether it be over the telephone or in person nothing has been too much trouble. Charlotte was the main person we have been dealing with and we found her to be courteous, knowledgeable and professional at all times. We would highly recommend Castledene to anyone considering buying or selling a property.

An outstanding service is always given and I’ve had two mortgages from these and they have always provided me with the best help and service along the way. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my mortgage quotes 10/10
21st May 2024 (16 weeks ago)Good experience except for an encounter with one individual called Todd. He was very keen to tell me he was the company director on arrival, then told me (whilst picking dirt out of his fingernails) “I couldn’t really care less about this property” probably because it was cheap and his commission is low, I’m hoping he doesn’t treat people buying cheap properties less than those spending millions. If he does he clearly doesn’t understand the basic principles of business. Business isn’t about quick transactions, it’s built on relationships. I will not be doing business with this company moving forward, I would advise against using them, they lied to me twice in the process of buying the house and the disappointing attitude from inflated ego Todd was a let down, perhaps if he did his research he wouldn’t talk to me like that. Shame really, when one guy lets the team down.- 26th May 2024 (15 weeks ago)Despite the property being very unique the valuation was based on as much well researched information as they could manage. Marketing was done well with excellent photos and a photographic 3d walk around. They also managed to arrange marketing in the local paper. Helped negotiate a good selling price higher than the asking price. Property has been sold within 5 weeks of marketing. Friendly and informative staff. Despite speaking to different staff the computer notes were well done meaning we were always well informed. I’d recommend this company.

31st Jul 2024 (6 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could

Every time we manage to speak to someone on the phone, we’re promised a call back that never happens. No one responds via email, and the whole process has been painfully slow from start to finish.
