We paid 6 months in advance - at a premium price - for a luxury apartment. Upon arrival, we found severe water damage and mould in the apartment - as confirmed by third-party mould inspector. Evidence suggests they knew about the water damage months ago and neglected to fix it or tell us about it before we signed the lease. We never moved in - and were left scrambling to find something else (we live abroad and were coming for 6 months). They fixed the leak but refuse to adequately remove the mould, and don’t want to return our rent… even though mold inspection report says the place is hazardous to health! So now we’ve had to hire a lawyer and will likely have to take them to court. It’s a nightmare. The agents are negligent at best and deceptive at worst.

Avoid at all costs. They’ll try to get every penny out of you upon moving out. Reviews are inflated because they ask you to rate them upon signing a lease
