I rented my property out through Truepenny's and whilst the experience at the beginning to get the contracts drawn up etc. was quite slow and last-minute, throughout the actual management of the tenancy they have been brilliant. I recently had to regain possession of my flat due to a change in my personal circumstances and Myra in particular was incredibly helpful and patient with me during a difficult time, which I thoroughly appreciated. Would definitely recommend Truepenny's for anyone looking to rent out their property in the area!

We don’t have enough words to express our gratitude to Connor and his team for everything they did to help us get through a very difficult time and a property sale for our family. We worked with them over the course of many months after we lost a family member very suddenly, and we had to solve multiple complex issues all at once, with which they were an invaluable resource and help to us. Our property sale had a very happy ending with a wonderful buyer and they took care of so many aspects of the property along the way to the finish line. We will be forever thankful to Connor and his team for their kindness, guidance and expertise!

After contacting numerous estate agents in SE22, SE23 and searching for a year, being messed around by three agencies, it was super refreshing to find Truepenneys Estate Agents in Dulwich. No hard sell and trying to sell me products (Conditional Selling) like all other agents tried to. Contacted me straight away and booked me in ( Unlike all other estate agents again) and actually listened and cared.
Alex Smith who showed me the property numerous times went above and beyond and so did his team ( Thank you very much to Wallace also). Alex was professional, friendly and very proactive and I cannot recommend Alex or Truepennys enough! Just an all round brilliant agency.
Thank you very, very much. 10/10 - Best in South London by miles.

Fuse box was burning and nothing was done after reporting several times, had to call fire brigade 2 days later, whereby they confirmed it was still a massive fire risk (Truepennys did not act when 15 people’s lives were at risk due to a serious fire hazard). I was put in a temporary room with no power, light, heating during cold temperatures outside (I was freezing - -1 degrees outside) - and instead of helping they ceased to act on my behalf, and cancelled the contract.
This left me with no one to communicate with, as they refused to speak to me on the phone from thereon after. I was left in a flat with no power and me and my girlfriend had to sleep at a friend’s house, as it did not seem safe but TruePennys didn’t care. The directors refused to speak to me after agreeing to call me back 5 times - truly shameful and Truepennys should be really disappointed with how they treat people.
They never reply on emails or on the phone.
They are now refusing to release my security deposit and ignoring emails. This along with mice issues, bathroom smells and dodgy fridges and ovens which were reported for the entirety of our tenancy and nothing was done.
However, not responding to a life threatening incident is disgusting by all accounts.
