17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

2nd Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)Very knowledgeable agents. They knew the local market and our requirements. They found us a property and negotiated a price for us within our budget. This enabled us to drop our price to get a buyer, in what was a difficult market. We used our agent for selling at buying.

Have had dealings with other local agents in the past where in each case either minor basic errors by the staff or the clear financial gain objective of the ownership have adversely affected their performance in a way that has never been remotely the case at Jordan’s.
21st Mar 2024 (24 weeks ago)They´re OK, I doubt no worse than any other letting agent in the town that charge 12%. They appear to respond pretty quickly jobs don´t appear too badly priced.

As a very very inexperienced house mover (twice in 73 years!) they put me at ease, explained all of the extensive paperwork involved in renting in detail and eased the process. They accomodated my availability for viewing time and kept me informed of progress as it moved through landlord acceptance and completion. There was even a welcome box with some very handy discounts (which I have used). Your Move Polegate made the whole process of moving as stress-free as it could possibly be. Thank you.

16th Jul 2024 (8 weeks ago)I second everything what's been said about Jo and Hallway! Jo wasn't our agent ( we were buyers ) so we were on the other side of the chain, but from the day she showed us around the house till completion day she's been on fire. Sometimes taking a simple information from solicitors took a life and a half and Jo was chasing each side like mad hatter. Whenever I needed an update or wasn't sure with something she's been on the other side from Monday till Sunday. Very patient with us first time buyers. Explained everything, always with details and even after completion she continuesly been there for us. I was feeling cared for although she wasn't even our agent. I am truly sad it's over and I won't have a laugh with this woman anymore ???? Love her sense of humour!!! Highly recommended
