The team have always kept us in the loop regarding the property, promptly dealt with any arising issues, and have guided us through every stage of the process. They have also been great at fielding questions and providing tailored advice.
5th Jul 2024 (9 weeks ago)I'm writing this review as a fellow estate agent. I've recently had Rural Scene in a chain with myself and Richard was absolutely fantastic. He is extremely proactive and provided us with updates weekly so that our chain moved forward smoothly and we have just today exchanged contracts. If anyone is looking for a rural estate agent then I would highly recommend Rural Scene. As an agent myself the good ones stand out and Richard is brilliant.

Also there was quite a few problems near the end and if you hadn’t been for Matt going above and beyond, we would not be moving next week.

29th Jun 2024 (10 weeks ago)Our experience is from the Rental Agency part of this business. From our perspective I really hope they train their staff better. Our experience was not good. Most/all of the problems were avoidable and reflected either a lack for training or a careless approach to the legitimate needs of their tenant. At this time the Landlord, no matter how bad they behave, is king. We won't be coming back as a customer (either in a rental or purchasing form). It would be nice if they would learn from this experience. We did!!!! In our case the training cost us hard cash!!!

Gavin and his team at the Burnham-on-Sea office of Westcoast Properties guided us through the process, making it simple and as stress-free as possible. They demonstrated excellent communication, being quick to respond to calls and emails, and keeping us informed each step of the way. Gavin’s undoubted experience in the market was extremely reassuring and we felt confident and well looked after by the whole team at the Burnham-on-Sea branch.

2nd Sep 2024 (6 days ago)We used David Plaister to sell my late mother’s property at auction because it needed a bit of structural work and so was difficult to sell through the usual Estate Agent channels. From start to finish both David Plaister and Sophie Thorne; (who deals with the administration and sale) were professional, personable and highly efficient in ensuring everything was done to maximise the chance of selling the property. Their marketing is second to none, and this coupled with David’s knowledge of the local area and Sophie’s attention to detail ensured we were served very well indeed. The property sold at the first auction at a price that both parties ( buyer as well as vendor!) were pleased with. We could not have had better service- I would highly recommend David Plaister for anyone having to sell a property at auction. Sit back- leave it to them; you will be in good hands and I’m sure you will be happy with the outcome!

When we found our dream home we had absolutely exceptional support from Jayne with the Cheddar team (James and Leanne) providing additional assistance; nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was proactive in helping us get to completion. Absolutely no complaints and would definitely recommend L&W when searching for your next property. Thank you all we are very grateful.

2nd Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)I Changed Agents to Housefox after my previous sale fell through at 3.5 months of the selling process. Note to sellers…….. if your buyers are Cash Buyers make absolutely sure your agent gets proof of funds…………. and double check this early on in the process. Housefox were really great and I would definately recommend.

We then went to Charles Barnard Estate Agents and have nothing but good praise for everything the Whole Team did for us. In addition to phone calls and emails, the WhatsApp group chat he set up was an efficient way for the family to communicate with him, and responses to any questions were always timely and informative. Other members of his team were equally helpful and pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble, and he was really considerate of our family’s wishes. Tom was great in ensuring the process with our buyers ran smoothly. We’re really pleased we selected GTH.
