14th Aug 2024 (25 days ago)I was a tenant with DR for 3 years and found Martin, Rose and Daniel to all be exceptional. As with any property you live in for years we had the usual set of issues, things occasionally breaking from wear and tear, the upstairs neighbours shower leaking one time etc, all were dealt with very quickly and professionally with great communication.

17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)What a different way to sell a home, with supportive, gentle and trustworthy people. We’d been mulling over the idea of relocating out of London for years and even discussed putting our home on the market with Unique previously. What we like is that there is no big sales pitch, no pressure to sell, just listening and responding. But more importantly, keeping both our buyers and us calm, communicative and friendly throughout the sale, so it felt as smooth as it could possibly be. We’re not planning to do move again any time soon, but we’d definitely use Unique if we were.

Extremely polite and kind, knowledgeable of the area and accommodating! Great experience!
10th Jun 2024 (13 weeks ago)I recently engaged with the very friendly and knowledgeable staff at Fyfe McDade. They took time to understand the nature of my enquiry, I didn’t feel uncomfortable, and I liked that the atmosphere was very relaxed and no one wore suits! Refreshing from an estate agency. Alex took the time to go through several properties in their portfolio, understood my needs in wanting to be around N1C or WC1. The team went above and beyond, also having a 15 minutes discussion about market conditions, forthcoming elections, what the Bank of England might be up to and even a bit of Bloomsbury history… Recommended.

On both occasions the service Tom provided was excellent - great communication and an attention to detail. We also appreciated his knowledge of the market and realistic rental evaluation. We would certainly use the agency again and highly recommend them.

I was desperate to complete before Christmas as I was potentially homeless and Jon pulled out every stop to make sure this happened. I cannot thank him enough.

Much appreciated and thank you!- 26th Sep 2022 (1 year ago)This is the worst service I’ve ever received from any company. Since Day 1, they don’t reply usually when you’re asking questions. They postpone many things and lied about some issues. For Example, our fridge has been broken because it was old we’ve asked them a couple of times and they said they’ve already ordered a new one but we could see when they’ve ordered. You need to chase them for anything. The most disappointing part was, they’ve tried to charge the thing or issues that have been already damaged from the deposit I paid. It’s been almost 2 months and they didn’t refund my deposit. I said ok for many things just for the sake to receive our deposit back. They’ve even tried to charge 275£ for cleaning and I said OK even my flat was not much clean when I moved in. They tried to charge cutlery which belongs to a former tenant or an already broken clothes hanger. When we asked for the kitchen stuff or replacing these things they said “ These are personal things, and we cannot supply” but at the end of the tenancy, they tried to charge. I strongly DON’T suggest working with this agency. If you can find another place to move in go with them. They are the worst! They don’t do what they need to do. I’d like to suggest taking a photo of every inch of the flat! Every single detail is just for keeping a record on your own. As I said don’t work with them, if you need to take photos and keep send them for recording.
21st May 2024 (16 weeks ago)Michael Stevens has been my landlord for the last 3 and half years. I can honestly say they have been the best, friendliest and positive estate agents I've dealt with. Jo and Helen are incredible at there jobs and have sorted any issues I've ever had immediately. Will be sad to leave them. Cant recommend enough :)

26th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Moved in in October 18th 2021, we are January 26th and the default heating system is still down. I still have no heating in my place. No follow-up, unprofessinal and rude responses when asking for repairs to be taken care of. False apologies and no real solution provided, and I am paying extra electricity as I finalllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyy sent out portable heaters after screaming that the weather was going to -4 degrees. In January.
8th Mar 2022 (2 years ago)I engaged Simon and Fine Living for the legal work on letting my home, his knowledge of the lettings market and the legal aspects made me feel very comfortable using him. We’ve got a great tenant and Simon is available should I need him for any assistance.
2nd Jan 2024 (8 mo. ago)This is an estate agent on another level. Instead of going for the same kind of corporate, profit driven, pushy stereotype that we have all come to know (and loathe) the team at Hestia’s are the opposite. Their focus is on individuals, they want to really get to know and help people. The people who’s houses they are tasked with selling but also the people who want to buy them. We instinctively got on well with the team from our first meeting and it was just a pleasure working with them. Conversations were always professional and productive, but most importantly they were conversations and at no point did we feel dictated to. Viewings were handled respectfully; communication was great with plenty of notice at every turn and they found perfect buyers for our home. As with any process there were complications, but Hestia’s made a huge effort to help us and our buyer overcome these issues which made everything work in the end. In short without their help, we would not have been able to move when we did. I would not hesitate in recommending Hestia’s to anyone trying to sell their home in South London. They are brilliant and we can’t thank them enough for the effort they put in.

Tom and his team are great to work with and their fees are far more reasonable than other ‘household’ names in the business. Who says you need to pay more for a personal touch? Highly recommended to any homeowner looking to become a landlord.
