Always make sure you come to the viewing as some people are disappointed when they bid and they don't get what they want. Also there are fees of up to 45% on some items so be careful. Also the auction place could do with a description on the items as there isn't one. But the collection staff are always nice and helpful

We were able to quickly and conveniently book a viewing where we met with Paige who immediately put us at ease with her friendliness and openness. Paige got us into our new home efficiently and with great communication throughout the process. Couldn't have asked for more really!

31st Jul 2024 (6 weeks ago)I am a first time renter, I traveled to Nottingham to look at letting agents to rent as I wasn't having any luck online. They were the first agency I saw, they instantly booked me 2 viewings a day later and I managed to get one of those rentals. No other agency in Nottingham (I pretty much went to all of them) got back to me or found me a viewing. FHP have replied to all my emails very quickly and have helped me every step of the way in moving into my first rental. Very happy with their service and I couldn't recommend them enough- 9th Aug 2024 (30 days ago)Excellent service from Sophie Buckthorpe who made the whole process as a landlord easy from start to finish to let our two bedroom Flat. Sophie found the perfect tenants for our property and I can't thank her enough. Sophie is available to answer any queries we may have and is efficient in her response.
9th Aug 2024 (30 days ago)Staff are really kind and friendly, but the handling of our rental was very poor. We viewed a property, and put in an application and paid holding deposit at the same time. We were told that despite paying a holding fee, they were still going to go ahead and reference other applicants because the landlord had a “poor experience.” We tried calling, emailing and leaving messages and nobody got back to us. We saw on rightmove they were still advertising the property despite our holding deposit meaning it should have been taken off the market. We completed our referencing, and still nobody contacted us. My partner phoned and explained that due to the poor handling and communication, and the lack of security despite paying a holding deposit we would like it refunded and don’t want to move forward. The staff member said they would phone right back, and then didn’t. My partner had to chase up again. They have said they will issue a refund, but we are still waiting for an email confirmation and the money to come through. Very friendly staff, but really poor experience.

8th Aug 2024 (4 weeks ago)Thanks to all at David James who were involved we maxed out on viewings within the first couple days of it being listed on their website and we got an offer we found acceptable within 2 days of viewings. Had a very straight forward chain so thanks to this we were able to complete the move in around 3 months. Kerry was a delight to work with from the start of the process right through to the end keeping me updated on the progress of my sale. James came out and did the photos and did an incredible job and seemed like a really nice fella, Jacob also helped support with some queries I had and again was a massive help in the process.

They are professional, reliable and always on hand throughout to put you at ease and guide you through the process. Nothing has been too much trouble. All the staff have been very helpful providing updates or answering any queries on a daily basis. I would definitely recommend Marriotts to anyone considering using their services to rent out their property.

3rd Sep 2024 (5 days ago)We have been wrongly charged £275 from our deposit despite a deep clean. Their response was a picture of a hair on a previously stained mattress, a cobweb, hangers left in cupboard which was already left in the property when we moved in. The house was not professionally cleaned prior to moving in. We even had a gas leak at the property. We will be disputing this charge with the deposit scheme. Totally unfair, as you can tell from all the other reviews of them taking absurd deposits.
27th Aug 2024 (12 days ago)Although staff were pleasant at all times, the management service was not good. There were costly errors during the tenancy, communication wasn't great either. We have received an apology for these. We are grateful to the agency for finding new tenants, but in light of our experience, have decided to manage the property ourselves

31st Aug 2024 (8 days ago)Warning to new tenants: fill in your inventory as thoroughly as you can on move in as they will try to deduct as much as they can from your deposits on move out. Similar to other reviews: the House was very dirty with heavy wear and tear on move in. Unfortunately another company willing to make as much money as possible from people who come to them for somewhere to live :(
16th Aug 2024 (23 days ago)My whole experience with Staton Mortgages was absolutely incredible and I would not have gotten through the house buying process. At my first appointment Clare spent over two hours going through the whole process with me making sure I understood everything as a first time buyer. My house buying process was not straight forward and had a few bumps and both Clare and Emma supported me every step of the way, even after my mortgage was offered they still continued to provide support, answering every silly little question I had! They are both worth their weight in gold!

From Neil M Director who initially viewed and priced mums home, Neil was polite, courteous, hugely knowledgeable, Neil and all staff made me relaxed and took all worry and stress away from me. I must most definitely mention the following staff as they were patient, kind understanding and fulfilled all my requirements with their wealth of knowledge: Sandra, Megan, Hollie lauren and Fargo fantastic Platinum customer Service, and Tom excellent photographer who took lovely pictures of the property. I would definitely recommend Robert Ellis to any Seller or Buyer, Robert Ellis are Excellent from start to finish. I definitely give all Staff a Platinum Rating!!!! Best wishes everyone Conrad
