1st Nov 2017 (6 years ago)NEVER rent a property through Granvilles. There were building works throughout the whole tenancy period left unfinished making us unable to use the back garden. Damp in the bathroom and kitchen that went unfixed for the whole tenancy. The staff that work there are rude and incompetent, never dealt with such a horrible company before! My housemate complained about a leak in his ceiling and it was never rectified, only when his ceiling caved in in the middle of the night did they react. If he didn't move his bed he could have been seriously injured. When I vacated the property they tried to charge me for scuffs on the wall, when I had photo evidence of scuffs all over the walls when I moved in. They also charge you deposit de-registration fees and check out fees, but if you dispute this with the deposit scheme, they will say they legally can't charge these fees. Do not let them get away with it!! They also tried to bribe me by offering me my full deposit back if I stopped disputing their company standards with the deposit scheme. AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS.

23rd Jan 2023 (1 year ago)Since I've moved to the UK (5 years ago) I've lived in 5 different places (which has also meant 5 different letting agencies). By far my best experience has been with Martin Barry; Eva, with whom I had more contact with, is a lovely person, very professional and efficient and always looking out for you as a tenant. I will highly recommend them as a letting agency, you'll be in the best hands!

19th Feb 2020 (4 years ago)Very professional service, gave a detailed explanation of valuation and pricing strategy, were always able to explain their t&c's very clearly. And got us on the market promptly, with plenty of viewings booked in, and under offer within 3 weeks.

22nd Jun 2022 (2 years ago)I have used conrad fox to rent my 2 bedroom Property in gypsy Hill for the last 20 years. I keep my property in good repair and Dianne & Martin have always found me great tenants who have always stayed with me for 3+ years, hence why I always go to them, I want my tenants to be happy & work with them, I think when renting a lot depends on landlord & tenant expectations & relationships , the agents are often caught in the middle, that's just my opinion, mine has been positive experience dealing with Dianne & Martin at conrad fox and my review is genuine & honest & not meant to be a counter any unfortunate experience others may have had for whatever reason

I must say, the care that James put in his job is absolutely outstanding. He literally shows passion through his work. The pictures he took of my property were the best compared to other Estate Agent. Moreover what I have very much appreciated about James it has been his openness and transparency regarding the market possibilities and the actual valuation of the flat. Thank you James for your hard work!

25th Apr 2023 (1 year ago)Absolutely shocking the service received. The staff do not know how to communicate with each other. They do not even know what is going on with a client. Stay away. All they care about is their fees. No professionalism from this company. They will waste your time.

26th May 2022 (2 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

Holly even offered to be a helping had when I was going through PND and that’s speaks volumes. They always look out for their clients well being. If i was to remain within London, I would not have parted with their services. They are the best

They kept on top of things and made sure the process kept moving in spite of a few hurdles. I really think they earned their money. I would highly recommend iMove.

2nd Jan 2024 (8 mo. ago)This is an estate agent on another level. Instead of going for the same kind of corporate, profit driven, pushy stereotype that we have all come to know (and loathe) the team at Hestia’s are the opposite. Their focus is on individuals, they want to really get to know and help people. The people who’s houses they are tasked with selling but also the people who want to buy them. We instinctively got on well with the team from our first meeting and it was just a pleasure working with them. Conversations were always professional and productive, but most importantly they were conversations and at no point did we feel dictated to. Viewings were handled respectfully; communication was great with plenty of notice at every turn and they found perfect buyers for our home. As with any process there were complications, but Hestia’s made a huge effort to help us and our buyer overcome these issues which made everything work in the end. In short without their help, we would not have been able to move when we did. I would not hesitate in recommending Hestia’s to anyone trying to sell their home in South London. They are brilliant and we can’t thank them enough for the effort they put in.
