On the day of moving in there were some complications, through no fault of connells, however Dan, Hobbie and Chloe worked tirelessly to sort it! Very happy with them.
14th May 2024 (5 days ago)We went with Intercounty as Kerry Hill was an agent there and she sold us our house 6 years ago and I was so impressed by her. As expected Kerry was fantastic! But, we were very pleasantly surprised by the incredible team in the office. They actively SOLD the house, opposed to just letting it sit on the website. They were all very knowledgeable about my home when showing potential buyers and they were absolutely fantastic at keeping us up to date with what was going on. I genuinely couldn’t recommend them enough.
4th May 2024 (15 days ago)Keep getting useless newsletter and other emails. Clicked unsubscribe, still getting them. Contacted Your Move and they say you have to contact the branch. Contacted the branch twice and they still won't stop sending me emails. Have reported to ICO now

15th May 2024 (4 days ago)Abbey at Fox & Sons Bitterne was fabulous! Her communication was great, attention to detail equally matched her communication. She took note of our concerns regarding losing another property, went above and beyond to get the paperwork over to us prior to viewing, quickly sorted everything else out and we got the keys promptly. Abbey was approachable throughout the process, kept us well updated etc. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone and when we eventually come to move out, I would not hesitate to use her again :)

We never felt worried to pick up the phone and ask questions and they always replied to emails the same day. They were aware of our time difference and always called at times that suited us. They were honest, straightforward and always friendly. We felt like their main priority at all times and I couldn’t recommend them enough.

They were friendly, kept us informed when there was something to report and made enquiries down the chain when there seemed to be nothing to report and helped us in many ways to get over the line on what was a somewhat protracted sale and purchase. Vicki and Michael- 13th May 2024 (6 days ago)System always frozen when you call them, “will call you in a few minutes” = never call you, booked appointment will be delayed again and again but no one will arrange any new appointments, emails will be ignored, please avoid tenants and landlords, waste your money and time

It's been a long search to finally find a perfect location for us. Beals has always provided us information to new available place that is within our preference. Muhammad Hussain, one of their agents has been very approcheable and patient. His response to queries are timely and has been very polite in communicating with us. Very helpful to first time tenants who has very little idea with the tenancy process.

19th Apr 2024 (30 days ago)Where do we start? Jackson Bailey were 10/10 when selling our home. During what was an incredibly protracted process, which took six months from start to finish; Ben and the team kept in continual contact and chased where needed to ensure that the relevant progress was made. Having sold with JB, but purchased through a useless purple online agent (whose own ‘sales progression’ service was dreadful, talk about ‘commisery!’); Ben had to step-in and liaise on both our sale and purchase; doing the job of our seller’s agent at times too! Communication was clear, constant and effective, and we found the WhatsApp group an excellent way of getting updates outside of normal working hours. A refreshing change from having to leave constant voicemails to other agents in the chain. Overall, a justifiably FIVE STAR service from Jackson Bailey. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking to sell in the local area and cannot thank them enough for their efforts.
6th Apr 2024 (6 weeks ago)Do not rent any property associated with Nexa especially if you are young!! We have had endless issues since renting through Nexa properties which they are still yet to acknowledge/resolve. These issues include damp within the property (black mould and mushrooms growing), leaking boiler, no hot water for days at a time, lack of security (windows that do not close), we were also without a shower for 3 months. If you are a young person they do not attempt to fix or resolve any issues you have until you threaten the council or not paying rent!
13th Dec 2023 (23 weeks ago)Avoid these people at all cost, our family has been on property for 3 month now. We have 2 small children and nothing gets repaired, the shower doesn't work properly the washing machine is draining into buckets among several other issues that affect our daily life unfortunately we still have 9 more month to go.

11th May 2024 (8 days ago)Initially had 3 Valuers from local agents. All came in with similar valuations. Jamie who valued ours seemed to be the strongest character and least like a “yes man” What they did that was different to the others was show examples of the same properties being marketed by themselves vs other agents. We also noticed that most of the stuff we were clicking on on Rightmove were theirs. Tammie who was the seller, very direct, no messing about and always felt like I was being treated honestly.
31st Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)My review is regarding the lettings team, and the landlord Clydesdale Group or any of their associated companies (e.g., Templeton Stockbridge). More info on issues I've had with the Clydesdale rentals below (Elmfield block and Clydes Dale Court). Make sure everything is in writing. Clarify any ambiguity no matter how small over email. Charters will continuously mislead you and intentionally lie with false information in order to secure deposits and have agreements signed. If this happens, you can contact your financial institute through which you paid. My bank confirmed that my deposit was obtained fraudulently and could be claimed as a scam. They will go back on everything written and verbal (e.g., their recorded calls) and claim misunderstandings every time. They probably won't honour what they initially agreed but it's useful to have the evidence for claims or if you need to get out of the agreement early. If you do rent with them, they will likely send outdated inventories so you have to spend hours fixing and updating it, essentially doing their job for them. And then they'll try to blame you for issues they failed to record on the check in inventory. You need to be really thorough with the inventory to ensure you get your deposit back. They take 3+ months to carry out repairs and hire contractors that do shoddy jobs (that cause further damage) if they even bother to do the repair. There is no communication, you have to chase up everything, and then they try to deflect the blame. Management is just as bad. Finally got in touch with a director 6 months into my tenancy only to get more excuses, minimising, glossing over things, not bothering to look into the details/complaints properly, and taking no accountability. Minimal morals, and minimal care for tenants. What's worse is that Charters staff gaslight you, and are passive aggressive. Staff are ridiculously incompetent, lazy. Elmfield block If you do an Internet search you will see that I am not the only one that was lied to by Charters and vital H&S information withheld. They lied about mould, the type of construction being done, and ongoing water contamination concerns. After being caught out they blamed it on a "new" staff member not being aware, except she wasn't new (she moved from sales to rentals) and the manager also didn't disclose any of these issues on the numerous occasions I spoke with her. Clydes Dale Court - Landlord refused to address mould and damp issues caused by various leaks despite being made aware of their legal obligations. There is a dampness and ventilation issue in the whole building resulting in a silverfish issue. - Charters and the landlord lied to me about which furniture I was going to be provided. I rented a fully furnished house--everything is in writing about which furniture was agreed to and was told that it would be new. On move in day, 90% of the furniture was either missing or not correct, some of it really old and in poor condition. This was never resolved. - I was assured it would be professionally cleaned. There were urine stains on the bathroom wall. Every radiator covered in layers of dust, spider webs, dog hair. Mould on every window sill and in the kitchen walls. Dirty surfaces. Stains on walls and skirting (including a brown stain near the bathroom switch). Overgrown garden with dog faeces, and covered with trash (amounting to bin bag full once picked up). Carpet smelled of wet dog after supposed professional wash for duration of my tenancy. - There is a sewage issue for all the flats that they won't resolve. - Numerous counts of unauthorised entry when I wasn't home despite me stating that I do not want entry without my presence or knowledge and that this is illegal. Also had a contractor try to enter using his own copy knowing that I was home. Contractors have copies of keys to all the flats, which is not safe at all. They eventually changed my locks after 7 months because I had evidence that someone entered while I was on holiday and because I said I was going to report it to the council and the police.
24th Apr 2024 (25 days ago)I have rented a property under Leaders and I can say they are very accommodating, responsive and helpful with the process in renting a property. I have multiple requests but they were able to accommodate and help me with those. I was in contact particularly with Ash and he is very responsive and attentive to my needs. Also, they are very systematic with the process. Would definitely recommend them!
