17th Mar 2024 (25 weeks ago)Leo the Branch Manager was fabulous. He maintained contact, fouup all communication and feedback and always arryon time for viewings. Can’t fault the service at all, highly recommended. Service and communication stood out way higher than previous agents in Evesham that we tried to sell with.
1st Jul 2024 (10 weeks ago)Despite stating very clearly that we did not want a board or marketing to begin until after a certain date (we wanted to tell our elderly neighbours that we were moving first), the board was erected when we were not at home, earlier than requested. This caused considerable upset and distress to our neighbours. Proof-reading by the agent was very poor. Punctuation was placed incorrectly, especially commas. Inaccurate use of spellcheck meant even simple words, often used by estate agents, were not corrected before the text was sent to us - e.g. 'greed' instead of 'greeted', 'boarders' instead of 'borders' in relation to the garden, 'singe' instead of 'single' in relation to the garage. It took three attempts for the details of the property to be correct. The initial photos were dark and we did not feel they showcased our property well. The agent returned to re-take them but with limited improvement. Feedback from other people directly to us has confirmed this opinion. After the initial consultation, we gained no impression that the agent was proactive in marketing our property, nor that they were really interested in our views. At times, their response appeared to be very dismissive. We have now moved to a new agent - it is early days but we have been made to feel that we matter as individuals. Our views have been taken into account in a far more professional manner.
9th Nov 2020 (3 years ago)Nicol & Co delivered a fantastic service from start to finish. The channel of communication remained open from the moment we had our property valued by Robin to when we collected the keys at completion. They allowed us to view properties that were on their books but were not yet on the market and it was one of these that we are now lucky enough to call our home. It was actually Matt Nicol who was in the hot seat when we sold our house and it came as a result of him following up with previously interested parties after we decided to drop out asking price slightly. Once at the stage of completing legal documentation Nicol & Co sent an employee to our house to ensure it was done correctly, thus avoiding any delays further down the line. This was an unexpected bonus that was hugely appreciated. The sales progression team were exceptionally helpful and Odette was able to guide us through answering the inquiries we received from our purchasers and Coral ensured the solicitors were working towards the timeline we had requested. Nicol & Co were there to guide us at every step of the process and I would certainly recommend them to friends and family.
19th Nov 2023 (9 mo. ago)Morgan is affable, astute and has been a reliable source of refreshingly honest advice as we’ve navigated the ever changing property market, deciding whether to relocate. We didn’t hesitate to use his family agency to sell our much loved home and were hugely impressed by the care taken throughout: the photography perfectly captured its essence, the feedback from viewings was excellent and Stefan handled our sale expertly and extremely sensitively, skilfully balancing the needs of both parties, which led to a quick and very smooth completion. Top marks and thanks to all the team!
