From this point we went from struggling to get any viewings at all, to Taylors selling our house within 24 hours!! It wasn’t the most straight forward of sales, and we felt grateful to be reassured and informed throughout the process. Jamie in particular went above and beyond for us with fantastic customer service. It is clear everyone at Taylors really care about their customers and you not only get a great team of professionals who know the area well, they are also so friendly and a pleasure to work with. I’m so pleased we chose Taylors and I’d recommend them to anyone. Thank you Tim, Jamie and team :)

Their staff's communication and professional approach exceeded our expectations, making it stress-free to entrust them with our flat. From start to finish, they did an excellent job, from the beginning of our tenancy to the sale of the flat.

7th Apr 2024 (6 weeks ago)Made an enquiry on shared ownership in Northampton, agent took my details, and I got no call back for next 3 days. Called back and agent remembered me, again he said he will pass on details to very busy team, now 1 week has passed and no answer. Can you imagine going through a process of buying or selling with them.. Bad service, avoid Lucy from customer relation will email the same robotic catchphrase, can you email us at so and so....total nonsense...look at all the reviews, robot Lucy will answer with same lines

8th May 2024 (11 days ago)We have been using Merrys as our letting agents for more than 10 years. During all that time their service has been first class and we would thoroughly recommend them to new and existing landlords. Jackie runs the lettings part of this friendly, local estate agents. She knows all the tenants, landlords and tradesmen personally and is quick to deal with any problems that may crop up. Whenever we have needed to find new tenants Jackie has done so quickly and efficiently, ensuring that vacant periods are kept to a minimum.

11th Feb 2022 (2 years ago)I'm not one for reviews but I have to share my experience. After renting my property out through Northwoods (a lot of years), it was time to buy a new property. They had been fantastic at managing the property over the years, with constant communication and regular updates. the property was never left empty for long, just long enough to allow maintenance to be done (By their approved contractors) before new tenants moved in. So based on their professionalism I choose them to handle the purchase. It just seemed effortless, again communication was spot on, I never once had to call to push along, Sara and Sam seemed to be one step ahead and kept me well informed explaining any issues that might arise, when there was a problem they sorted it all out with a common sense approach. When the other party seemed to be dragging their heels (solicitors) on completion, there they were again helping the transaction through to the end. I can not recommend these guys enough, for making everything hassle free, with no stress at all.

15th Sep 2020 (3 years ago)Very unprofessional and disgraceful company with no regards to a good customer service. I had a pre-scheduled viewing then someone else was being showed around the property first whilst I was at the address ahead of time. Letting agent conducted himself in an unsuitable manner. Stalled the whole process for over two days after I paid holding fee and then I was lied to and told landlords provided alternative instructions when in reality they let the property with someone else. Office staff constantly contradicting themselves, tangling in their own lies, showing complete disregard to a customer, lacking integrity and moral code. It is appalling companies like this are still operating.

(And other team members who we dealt with less) were so friendly and helpful throughout our flat purchase. Informative, supportive, charismatic, and organised. We felt they were really looking after us during the whole process. I would definitely recommend them. Thank you also for the little moving in gift box. A very pleasant touch to the final part of the process. Jon and Sarah.
2nd May 2024 (17 days ago)Chelton Brown, Northampton provided excellent service from the very beginning, from the viewing of the property right up to receiving the keys. They have a first-class team, all are professional and friendly. In fact, this is probably the very first time I have dealt with so many people at one company and each of them were outstanding in my dealings with them. I am very pleased with Chelton Brown and highly recommend them. Thank you so much Emily, Grace, Laura, Millie, Donna and Karen all of whom I interacted with at one time or the other during the process.

Most courteous of people who kept me up to date with everything with the progress of the sale. Highly recommend Matthew Nicholas for buying or selling a property
18th Mar 2024 (9 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
15th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)I cannot recommend Winkworth Estate Agents in Northampton highly enough. Ian Simons and the team are consummate professional, and fantastic people. Nothing, and I mean nothing is to much trouble for them. Ian handled the sale of our house, and the sale of another we were responsible for. It all went very well; difficult situations were dealt with, with minimal stress to ourselves. The buyer of our house was guided every step of the way, as required. When things looked like going completely wrong Ian stepped in and guided the sale home on time. Legend. Thanks, Winkworth, for all you’re help guidance and understanding.

From start to finish they were incredibly supportive and helpful to me as a first time buyer. They were patient and honest and put my mind at ease. Communication was brilliant and service from start to finish was slick. Thank you Richard, Teresa and Sam (mainly for listening to me moan about work haha)

The stuff working there in the letting department are very very rude especially the manager. We been left with no heating or hot water for 3 days and we have a child, everytime when called been told we are not the only ones and they have a lot more rented houses to take care of. Only when I told her that I will contact the council she send someone to fix it straight away. She always very rude on the phone, I am not sure how she even have a position like this. I would avoid this agency!!!

He was consistently 100% from start to finish. Responsive and always happy to help (even when it might be slightly out of his realm, which it often was). The sale was long, with many many problems along the way. Paul couldn’t have acted any better throughout. Could not recommend Paul enough.
