14th May 2026 (10 days ago)Overall, our experience renting through Leaders was mixed. The process was slower than expected, which caused unnecessary stress and uncertainty during the move. To be fair, the staff did try to reassure us that our application was progressing well, but communication and delays were still frustrating at times. One part of the experience that I did not appreciate was the pressure around purchasing tenant insurance. After paying the holding deposit, I was told that declining the insurance could negatively affect our application with the landlord. This did not make much sense to me, as the insurance was for our personal belongings rather than the property itself, and in the end the landlord was perfectly happy for us not to take it. On the positive side, Charlie, who showed us the property, was excellent throughout the process. He was professional, well prepared, knowledgeable about every aspect of the house, and very clear in his communication. It was obvious that he genuinely cares about doing his job well, and he helped make a stressful process feel much smoother.
22nd May 2026 (2 days ago)Our financial adviser asked us to obtain a professional's opinion of our house value so that he can prepare a plan based on sound information. We are not thinking of moving but Anna was friendly, helpful and professional with thorough research. She quickly understood our need and responded as promised. We have kept her card in our files as we were impressed and would recommend.
7th Apr 2026 (7 weeks ago)We recently purchased our grade2 home through Compass Elevation and we have to thank Mark Sheffield for making the process from our sellers side as smooth as possible. He was always available to show us around the property while we decided if it was the right move for us and responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had in purchasing this grade2 building. He liaised quickly & effectively between us & our seller keeping us all up to date at all times and answered all our questions. I genuinely felt Mark cared & thanks to him we are now settled into our new home. I highly recommend Mark.

Daniel is friendly, thorough and knowledgeable, keeping us up-to-date proactively and offering his advice and expertise as needed. You won't find a better option and I wish all estate agents operated like this!

One thing we noted was that our inventory pre-move in was very detailed, which we really appreciated. Thank you to Holly and the team, we’re very happy in our new home.

They were always available for viewings at any time for potential buyers and kept us updated on progress and always fed back in a timely manner Would recommend using Giggs if you have one in your area- 21st May 2026 (3 days ago)From the beginning of our sale we were looked after by Amy Rohde who called me every week with updates on the progress of our sale. She took the trouble to chase up issues raised and was always willing to do anything she could to help achieve the completion of the sale before the end of April, a time frame requested by our seller of our purchase in Upwood. In the event this has been delayed until early July at the request of our seller. Throughout the whole process, Amy was very professional and understanding and a pleasure to work with. They pulled in plenty of viewings and were very profefessional throughout. Weekly updates were provided so i never felt out of the loop. They were all really helpful with any query or question we had and would act on everything really quickly. We never had to wait around for answers during what is usually a very stressful process and we were able to move really quickly and seamlessly.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

From the start, their communication was excellent, we received regular, honest updates and useful feedback throughout the entire process. They did a fantastic job presenting our home. The photos were high quality and really highlighted the best features of the property, and it was clear they took the time to properly understand the house ahead of viewings. What really stood out is that, unlike many estate agents who tend to go quiet unless there’s a viewing, Villager Homes genuinely delivered on their promise to be proactive. We always felt informed and supported, not left wondering what was happening. After the sale was agreed, Ana in particular went above and beyond. She worked incredibly hard to keep us updated on everything happening across the chain, especially during times when communication from other parties was slow or unclear. That made a huge difference and really helped reduce the stress. Overall, we were really pleased with the experience. The whole team were friendly, professional, and consistently went the extra mile to help wherever they could. We’d highly recommend them.

18th May 2026 (6 days ago)Got introduced to Ryan Booth through a mutual friend whilst looking into moving to the UAE with the family… honestly, wish I never did. Constantly available on the phone answering endless questions about areas, schools, visas, setting up a business and property. Somehow always replies, which is actually quite annoying. Ended up helping us buy our first overseas property as well, made the whole process far too easy and now we’re even more convinced on the move. Terrible bloke really… far too knowledgeable and way too easy to deal with. Wouldn’t recommend… unless you actually want someone who knows what they’re talking about.??????????????????
