10th Aug 2020 (3 years ago)At the start the relationship was positive and friendly. A for sale board was requested but, never placed. We did not received feedback from the few viewings we had and unsure whether buyer/ viewer suitability checks were carried out - especially at these times with heightened cleaning and sanitising that needs to happen. We also received marketing letters although we were already with them and the claims on them we challenged as this was not reflecting our experiences. Communication was far for acceptable with not following up with promises to call by a certain time/ date and not responding to emails readily. To add to this they wanted us to drop the price of our property when realistically had not done enough to market it. Very disappointing and felt like we lost an amount of time with no progress.
10th May 2024 (10 days ago)We made the right choice by having Compass Elevation as our agents to sell our house. Grant and his team went above a beyond in chasing the last person and his solicitor in the chain to get things moving. I would highly recommend Compass Elevation. A job well done.

I can't thank Conrad Shaw (a staff member in Bedford office) enough for his steadfastness and resilience in the discharge of his duties. When hopes appeared to have dashed in securing an accommodation from other letting agencies, then I met Conrad Shaw. He would say to me and I quote "I can't see while you (i.e. me) should not get the accommodation". He was always positive and reassuring. He would reach out to notify of any development. You deserve more than 5 stars and every work places should have a Conrad Shaw. Thank you Mr Shaw, thank you Wilson Peacock From - John Ameh

No issue was too big or small & they are easy to contact and respond very quickly. They have been a delight to deal with and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to rent or buy a property in the area. 10/10 service.

Tracy and Georgina provided focused and detailed weekly updates on the buy/sell chain progression which helped me with clearly understanding the status and therefore enabled me to plan accordingly. The whole Ampthill team, including Daniel from the Bedford branch, were extremely helpful, honest, practical and unpretentious throughout the entire sales process. It was a pleasure to deal with them to the point Urban and Rural provided me with updates before the solicitors did. An absolutely positive experience, thank you.
21st Apr 2024 (29 days ago)Every time our viewing rate dropped they asked us to drop the price. We'd already dropped it twice and they were asking us to drop it again. They completely missed parts of the property off the advert and weren't willing to update the advert or update the photos in spring when the garden looked much better

I was straight away impressed that Michael had researched the area, history and value of properties in my area as well as the expertise & understanding of Rightmove and the pricing brackets etc. I confidently signed up with Fry’s and from that moment on - the process was professional, easy. Particularly the communication & updates throughout ….I didn’t have to chase or get involved, everything was taken care of and in a professional but friendly & personal manner! Tom in particular I dealt with the most and he was always available for advice & support whenever I needed which was really appreciated … I can’t recommend Frys highly enough & thank the whole Fry team for making what they say is one of the most stressful things in life - not stressful at all!

She was not interested in discussing the property but rather just wanted the offer amount. This attitude together with reviews of how your tenants are treated tells us to stay away.
