9th Aug 2024 (30 days ago)Although the property I was interested in was no longer available the gentleman I spoke to (I didn’t get his name unfortunately) was extremely helpful. He gave up his time to offer valuable advice even though I likely wouldn’t be renting from them as they had no properties at the time that suited my needs. He was still more than happy to answer my questions and was extremely supportive. It was very much appreciated and I would highly recommend as a very professional and approachable company, even when they had little to gain. Thank you so much
22nd Jul 2024 (7 weeks ago)Would not recommend this agency, tell customers they can view at certain times and dates, travel there to be told there is no viewing booked and staff member I spoke to was very rude!! Absolutely disgusting customer service , doesn't even deserve one star!!

I was always kept informed and he was always on hand to respond to any queries in good time and with the relevant information. Having Neal as a familiar point of contact when Martin and Co took over was very reassuring as the same level of service was maintained. My best wishes to Neal and to all the staff at Martin and Co.

In our case solicitors made it a real trial but our thanks to Colin like a dog with a bone who got the whole mess sorted. We didn't use Annafield in this instance but if we ever sell again we would use Colin and his team in a heartbeat.

5th Jul 2024 (9 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!

We received constant updates from them and nothing was ever too much trouble - often going above and beyond to ensure the transaction went through. They made the experience of moving easy and kept on top of the chain throughout so we always knew what was going on. Fully deserving of the 5* review.
