16th Nov 2018 (5 years ago)lier staff in maintenance team , they never fixed thing shower heating not working since a week keep on telling someone come around nothing happen , give a smelling carpert promise to be clean once moved ask to clean it they say we organized someone to come and clean nothing done basically lier staff be carefull when taking any property for rent form this agent . as something goes wrong they not gona fixed it.

She truly went above and beyond and nothing was too much to ask for! I would only use her and this firm in the future!

The expertise of the company excels all others that I have dealt with and throughout the dealings all the staff have had my interest at heart. Thoroughly professional and I would not hesitate to recommend and use their services again. I was at all times kept up to date with the ever changing course of events.

I felt we were well informed, that they were committed to securing a sale, and they did. George, my agent did a cracking job, with excellent communication and he was always at the end of the phone. Thanks George you were brilliant!

20th Sep 2024 (6 weeks ago)I'm sorry because I really dislike leaving negative reviews but hopefully the owner will be able to see this and adjust things to improve in future. This is specific for the Swindon branch. I recently went through the process of buying a house with Jessica James, and attempting to view the property with them was incredibly difficult. Attempted calls on various numbers found on their profiles, voicemails, direct emails, messages through RightMove, and we had something like a 20% response rate. It took longer than two weeks to get a viewing arranged because of the lack of responses. We ended purchasing this house with Jessica James, and the lack of responses was also noticed by the solicitors in the chain as it got to a point where my solicitors were asking me where our seller's estate agents were, as they were also getting no responses. It made the purchase time increase on the already lengthy process that it is, and so I unfortunately cannot recommend Jessica James as an estate agent to buy a home from as the response rate actively negatively impacted our purchase.
31st Jul 2024 (13 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could
