1st Feb 2024 (7 mo. ago)The agent harasses me! My neighbor used this agency to sell his property. According to him, the experience of selling his property through this agency has been a complete nightmare. Despite the promises made by the agency regarding a 28-day completion and a cash buyer, my neighbor has faced continuous delays. The seller said the highly recommended cash buyer persistently renegotiates the price even after three months, citing various excuses. Additionally, I have experienced harassment from Sam Ford, the agency's director. He warned me not to knock on my neighbor's door. Despite my reluctance to answer his calls, he persists in writing email warning me not to contact my neighbor and attempting to provoke my relationship with my neighbor. He had previously shared my number with his business partner without my permission, resulting in that person emailing me at midnight and making multiple late evening calls. I have reported Sam Ford to prevent further harassment. It is crucial for Mr. Ford to understand who him is and where he is. This is a free country, and attempting to restrict my freedom of movement through email is unacceptable. Secondly, if property owners or tenants feel uncomfortable, they should report such matters themselves. Mr. Ford has no contractual relationship with them at this time. Therefore, the motivation behind Sam harassing me remains unclear

They shared feedback and assisted the sale once we had a buyer by facilitating communication and giving sound advice. Most of the staff at Roy Brooks are female. I would recommend them.

23rd Aug 2024 (28 days ago)I first went to the Winkworth team to sell my property after being strung along by a typical high street agent. My property was on the market for 3-4 months, and after a chat with Charlie it was like night and day. Not only did he provide realistic valuations, a decent notice period and fees, but managing our expectations with honesty and real knowledge about the market in the area. After signing up, Simon took over the day to day sales of the property and after 2 weeks we had an offer, and today I’m happily living in my brand new home after selling for above listing value! Very very happy and highly recommend the team at Winkworth!

They are professional and genuinely care about their clients. 11/10 would recommend ????????

She was super responsive via email and call when we were enquiring about the property, 100% at hand for answering queries and providing updates during referencing and ensured the process was completed as smoothly and quickly as possible. Thanks to Mary-Felicia this has been the easiest moving process I’ve experienced so far. Thanks for your professionalism and going above and beyond to make this experience so easy :)!

12th Jul 2024 (10 weeks ago)As the representative for a small block of flats, I can say that my experience of dealing with Mayfords as a Managing Agent has been refreshingly positive, from the moment Aarti Varma assumed responsibility for managing our block. What has been particularly impressive is the way Aarti has taken the time to want to know about the history of our block and associated issues, making regular on site visits and taking photos, seeking my input and also inviting me to Mayford's office to catch up and update me on block matters - all of which in turn has made it easier to resolve some of our long standing issues. I was also impressed with Aarti's well delivered Powerpoint presentation at the recent AGM, held in nice, off site, office premises. The presentation was well set out, including photographic illustrations, and objectively showed how our Block has evolved over the past year, and the part Mayfords, specifically Aarti, has played in helping tackle and resolve issues. There are some issues which remain a working progress, however with Aarti's strong leadership, I am positive we can reach resolution. On the basis of my own lived experience of dealing with Aarti, I strongly recommend Mayfords as a Managing Agent.

27th Mar 2024 (25 weeks ago)I did appoint JBrown to sell my property in Bromley and I was very happy at the beginning about the way they approached me and how they worked to get the property on the market quickly. Soon after they changed quite a lot in terms of communication, Zara used to reply randomly ( basically when she got a chance ) whilst Komal (owner)never replied to my emails.( she should learn how to deal with people). Despite that was a clear sight of a lack of professionalism, I left things going ahead smoothly. Zara kept me informed about the buyer's interest in seeing the property and I arranged access all the time. Then I had to chase her to receive feedback from customers, she never made them aware of the outcome or sending any REPORT. Even though I left them to carry on their job. They eventually got 2 offers and let me know to appoint a solicitor which I did. Both times buyers pulled out and she never contacted me to let me know, on the contrary, I had to call to find out what happened. I am still not sure if she really received any offers because I never received proof of that. The 12-week agreement came to an end and I previously let them know by email that I would not renew the mandate( no response at all as usual). Finally, I chased them again to remove my property from the market but they either removed it or replied to my emails. After 2 weeks of waiting for them I decided to contact Rightmove, and Zoopla etc explain the matter and they removed the property immediately. This morning magically I received an email From Zara saying that my property has now been removed! You are a team of liars, hopefully, people will be away from such an unprofessional “Estate Agency”.. I lost time but you lost quite a lot of money. That's what you deserve!!!

16th Sep 2024 (4 days ago)As a seller, initially things were fine. However, as soon as an offer was put in and accepted by us, the experience with Expose turned quite sour. We continually felt that Expose were working for the buyer and representing their interests at all times and not representing the seller at all. Communication was particularly poor. I had to continually chase for information which should have been passed to me as a matter of course. We allowed Third party surveys to be carried out by the buyers. Very little feedback was obtained from these and on one occasion an illegal gas disconnection was performed without informing us-the property owners! A hugely disappointing experience. Even the final completion process was cocked up and yet again no communication from Expose. Avoid!
