I visited the branch, (I did not drive) however, Akash drove me to view the property, which met all of my expectations. He kindly drove me back to the branch, where he sent me all of the documents straight away and gave me the time to think it all through. I would highly recommend Stirling Ackroyd for their professionalism, service and the human touch they bring to their work.

Owen and team provided a first class service . They have great local knowledge and were able to advise me on the best way to market my property through to a successful sale. I was kept informed of all stages of the viewings and transaction. Selling through them was a very pleasant experience.
23rd Aug 2024 (16 days ago)As a landlord I need troublefree and reliable tenants. Also expect agency to be reliable and providing timely service. Stuart found professional tenants and provided reliable management service at a reasonable fee for the last few months. He is on top of various deadlines for gas safety certificate etc and provides timely updates. Highly recommend.

The eventual buyer made an acceptable offer within a short time and the progress of the sale was communicated effectively at every stage through phone conversations, visits and emails.
22nd Aug 2024 (17 days ago)Tallulah Dowding showed her expertise and professionalism while helping with the property management of a flat we own. At a few hours' notice, she found a company to deep clean the property and then negotiated a deposit release with the tenants. Tallulah was helpful, completely on top of the situation and always prompt with her communication. Excellent work!

Josh helped advise us during negotiations, and helped us keep track of things at the house while we live abroad.

In particular Serena who was my main contact. Really well informed about the local area and she took a lot of time to really understand what I am looking for. Friendly and helpful and excellent at staying in regular contact without pressuring me. Would definitely want to use her again when I resume my search next year.

Paul and Hazel helped us through the process on both occasions, and we couldn't have been more impressed with their service. We bought our property through Bournes and Ross has dealt with us right from the start with viewing the property. He is punctual, polite, a pleasure to deal with and professional at all times. He dealt with every request promptly and got results very quickly. If we could give more than 5 stars we would...excellent outstanding service! We will definately use you again! Communication was exceptional; they were quick to respond to all our questions and consistently supportive of our needs for our recent house purchase. It’s a small and friendly team, and their experience, expertise and personalised service made all the difference. Thanks especially to James and Aaron, Jemina, and Nina, in particular, who was brilliant—very knowledgeable and able to make things happen quickly. House buying is a stressful time, but they definitely helped take some of the strain. Love our new home.- 28th Jul 2024 (6 weeks ago)Im not one for such negative reviews but avoid this estate agents !!! I’m astonished how this branch has such high ratings as separate experiences as a tennant and prospective buyer have been nothing short of appalling. As a tennant coming up for renewal, the negotiation agent ghosted. For months. We had to chase multiple times over email and phone for over 2 months! When ringing the branch and saying the name the handler on the other side said this negotiation agent had had complaints by multiple other tennants waiting & it had been raised with her manager but she had gone on annual leave for a few weeks & cases had not been handled to someone else. When chasing with her manager we had to wait another 3 weeks. We contemplated emailing the landlord directly to tell him this because quite honestly not worth the fee the landlord is paying from our rent. If you get Mia Bearne at the branch I would suggest asking for someone else or taking your business elsewhere depending if you’re a tennant or landlord. How someone still has a job with multiple complaints against them I don’t know. It was her & realising she worked at this branch that sparked the need to write this review after the following has also previously happened here…. Noah, although kind, was similarly awful. I was looking at a property which on auction joint with Pattersons. At the time in their window it said nothing about the property being on auction. To be honest I think they did the seller of the property a huge disservice in bad advice on the both the price, the strategy and then telling him to do it by auction. It would have sold way more quickly & simply with a slightly lower price and without the auction. The communication between the auction house and Noah wasn’t great and I was hounded by both men in the middle of the working day multiple times days in a row. Noah said he would get back to me on something. He never did. I went into branch to chat to him, a colleague took my email and number for him to follow up which never happened. We then ended up in the bizarre scenario where the property was both for sale on the auction site and had already been let, with a let agreed by the Woking branch. What’s worse is I had to tell both the west byfleet branch and the auction house of this as I found it on Rightmove as let agreed whilst it was still on sale. This was news to all the others involved. As a seller it seems they give you poor advice & if they suggest the auction with pattinsons I suggest you run a mile. As a landlord they ghost good tennants of 0 information during contract renewal and as a result really don’t deserve the fee you pay them. As a buyer similarly extremely poor in communication & have no clue what’s going on amongst themselves between branches. From these multiple separate bad experiences I would suggest everyone simply takes their business elsewhere to somewhere better.
