28th Jul 2024 (6 weeks ago)Looking further afield at where i want to live which reaches the right balance and unfortunately everything on offer is too expensive for my income. Its a sad state of the country which is not really FennWrights fault but they are part of the industry so they needed to know and when challenged on this some became upset and brazen about that's just how it is. 625, for a admittedly well decorated but E graded EPC bedsit above your shop just is not acceptable. For that price you could have provided furniture and all the other stuff and i stand my ground that a fair rent would be an annual yield of 3 to 5 percent. Especially as the original maisonette above had been originally i believe social housing scheme which and then you then became the managing agents of. Turning the 2 bedroom maisonettes into single units was crazy. Now i suppose someone is without a living room and i bet the rent is exorbitant. Especially as you are the owners of the block somehow. I guess its who you know at Tendring.
1st Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)As a prospective buyer, I have found the staff at HPS to be extremely helpful. In my opinion they are managing their sales in a timely manner from the point of the For Sale board being erected to then being able to view a property straight away, there was no delay between the point of it being advertised ...with the board and internet. In my opinion this demonstrates their efficiency and is the reason why I would recommend them.

30th Jul 2024 (6 weeks ago)Great valuation visit very positive attitude. All aspects of preparing house for selling from write up to photographs were great. Listened to customer and discussed correct way to market including selling price. Several viewings within first week. Offer after just 3 weeks on the market. So we got it right i believe. My only negative comment would be that the buyer made an offer with a condition, that they couldn't complete until a certain date. This quite relevant bit of information was not passed onto me the seller. Hence why 4/5 stars.

5th Sep 2024 (3 days ago)AVOID AT ALL COST ABSOLUTELY APPALLING. We have been treated terribly since day dot, they lied to us about our property and said all this work would be done and it never was. The property was filthy and unsafe, they took all our money and sent it to the landlord without our permission after we ended the tenancy. We delt with David Sinclair and the service is completely unprofessional and extremely rude, he took days and days to reply to us and always ignored my questions and was always sarcastic on the phone.

We encountered them when buying a house a few years ago and were impressed at their fairness in handling the buyer/seller balance. Hence tje decision to use them when selling. This last transaction fell at a difficult time and had some complications but they showed patience, persistence, courtesy and even humour. In brief, we trust them.

It was an easy choice selecting Stephensons to act as our agent as Tom arrived so well prepared, he had clearly taken the time to research my property. The process to get my property to market was then very smooth and efficient. It didn't take long for prospective buyers to start viewing my home and after the 5th viewing we accepted an offer we were very happy with. We were in a chain and Mary was absolutely brilliant at nurturing all the relationships with our buyers and various other estate agents and solicitors to get us to completion. I would highly recommend Stephensons Selby.

From my initial contact, they have relentlessly kept great communication in what is a difficult market, to find our "forever house". Tom and Edward's experience is second to none. If we are ever in the market for another house (hopefully not, as my wife has promised), I would have no hesitation in calling Savills......10/10

They e en approached the local council in order to discover the construction type of the non standard ex coucil house I was selling. Mark's invaluable expertise helped with the assessment of the property I wanted to buy, and Megan, and particularly Sue, kept me up to date regularly and constantly were on top of the legal progress.
