22nd Aug 2024 (17 days ago)Very disappointed with the service. Viewed a property with these guys after giving an offer I was told I will be contacted via post. Two weeks went past but didn’t receive anything, so I decided to call the office. After speaking to agent I was told that the house is under offer. I don’t understand why I wasn’t informed of this as initially instructed. I believe something isn’t right with these guys and vendors don’t get to see all the offers on the table from buyers. Avoid
31st Jul 2022 (2 years ago)Stephen Peace was happy to keep reducing the price of our house in order to sell it. Unfortunately, we could not afford for him to do that so we changed agents to one with a more proactive approach.
26th Aug 2022 (2 years ago)The staff were helpful and helped out as much as they could. I had a fault they got straight in touch with the landlord to help out and fix the problem

We have sold our house with the previous estate agent, we was with before moving to Belvoir.

12th May 2023 (1 year ago)Our first mistake was to be talked into using their in-house solicitors because "it would be more efficient and it would be easier to contact them to follow up queries". The buyers also used the same firm of solicitors. It took 4 months for them to sell the property from when the offer was accepted to when we actually exchanged contracts. This included almost a month to verify our identities because we had to use a portal that wasn't fit for purpose. As there was no upward chain and we were selling to first-time buyers it should have taken half this time. The photographs on the brochure were good but we had to edit the captions because of the number of errors in it. We had to conduct the viewings ourselves because staff were unavailable. The property wasn't displayed in the window, and when I asked why I was told that "no-one looks in the window!" After the property was on the market for 2 weeks, they wanted to lower the asking price. Some emails were sent in error - one regarding the sale of another property! Weeks would pass without any progress having been made. Communication was very poor (during this time the buyers had 3 different solicitors handling their purchase) and we were never sure that the buyers were still interested in purchasing the house. Even the day before we completed they were asking for documents verifying my husband's identity! The whole experience was very stressful and the delays proved costly to us. The service we received from AP Morgan was not worth the fee charged.

The process was made easy during a difficult time by Paul and all of his team. When I look back at the 2 1/2 years that we worked with these people I cannot think of a single thing to raise as a negative …… the team at George Edwards are helpful, professional , thorough , honest and excellent value for money. 31st Jul 2024 (6 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could

16th Aug 2024 (23 days ago)HH KNOW THE MARKET. Current sales stock is poor reflecting on vendors ejecting poor hmos first or those who have not invested in them for years and being let... No relection on HH infact I sympathise For us we are particularl hence a purchase may take a while
