6th Aug 2024 (7 weeks ago)Our experience with this estate agency has been extremely disappointing. They proposed a property to us that had significant restrictions, which they failed to disclose. We only discovered these issues six months later through our solicitors. The agency’s customer service is appalling. Every time I called, I was told the manager was on another call and would return my call, which never happened. Their communication is minimal, with infrequent email replies merely stating that matters are being “chased.” We are now more than six months into the process with no clear timeline, no information about potential chains, and no idea what is happening. Avoid this agency at all costs!

1st Aug 2022 (2 years ago)Absolutely poor. Most of their listings are not even real, they were rented ages ago but still online so people can waste their time. The guy who answered my call sounded like he was 10 feet under water, couldn’t hear anything properly. If you look at most of their reviews, they’re from bot accounts with 1 review praising two of their supposed salesmen. Avoid!

27th Jul 2024 (8 weeks ago)I sold my property through Cousins. While they aren't the cheapest around, they had an honest discussion about the price point given my timelines and then were able to get several offers meaning I was able to exceed asking price. It was then a difficult sale (solicitors not communicating effectively), but Tom from Cousins was there whenever needed to translate between them and actually keep things moving. I would highly recommend Cousins to sell a property in the area.
6th Sep 2024 (15 days ago)Very helpful and knowledgeable about the current property market . They were honest when giving a valuation and there fees were clearly laid out before hand with no hidden extra hidden costs. I also used the solicitor recommended by them that were good as well

24th Aug 2024 (28 days ago)Subject: Complaint Regarding Staff Behavior - Urgent Attention Required Dear Admin, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint about the unacceptable behavior exhibited by two of your staff members, which occurred during a recent interaction with me and my family… On 24/08/2024.. I was involved in a situation with a male staff member, whom I believe is named Matt, and a female staff member with long red hair. This encounter left me feeling intimidated, bullied, and subjected to what I believe were racist remarks. Additionally, their actions caused my children to become extremely distressed to the point where they were crying and screaming. I had to seek refuge at a friend's house to calm them down, which was both unnecessary and deeply upsetting. Here is a summary of what occurred: 1….. Accusations and Aggressive Behaviour: The female staff member accused my husband of bumping into her colleague's car…. When I asked for evidence.. she changed her story and then abruptly left the scene when I started to question her… This was extremely unprofessional and confusing. 2. Racist and Offensive Language.. The male staff member, Matt, confronted me in an aggressive manner… He used foul language in front of my children, despite my request for him to refrain from swearing. He then made a remark that I found to be racist and deeply offensive, stating, "Oh, people like you..." When I asked for clarification, he laughed and continued to use derogatory language, calling me a "crazy woman." This behavior is not only unprofessional but also discriminatory. It is deeply concerning that your staff would treat a customer in this manner, especially in front of children. I believe it is crucial that Martin & Co. addresses this issue immediately to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. I would appreciate a prompt investigation into this matter and a response detailing the actions that will be taken to address the behavior of these staff members. Annabel was brilliant as my direct negotiator, keeping myself and the buyer clearly informed of the process, and ensuring any glitches, and there were a few, in the admin and processing of the sale, were dealt with really quickly and effectively! Highly recommend James and Annabel, they know Angel/Islington market, and the systems and administration problems you're likely to experience here, and help make the whole process painless - or as much as is possible.
