I had really negative experiences with other estate agents until Matthew changed that. He has been extremely honest and great to deal with. Me and my partner were looking for a 1 bedroom flat in NW London to rent for a couple of years, and from start to finish, The Estate Company have been so helpful, we found a gorgeous flat listed on their website, booked a viewing for the next day, and secured it the day after. Very quick service, and so organised! We had previously dealt with other agents in the area and nothing compares to the level of service that The Estate Company can offer. Everything was explained, the property was exactly as described, and we secured the flat seamlessly. We moved in today, and the property is spotless, and we absolutely love it! Thank you to both Sarah and Darren for making what is usually a stressful process, the easiest thing we've ever done! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a property to buy or rent, in London, as these guys are brilliant, and we will certainly be coming back to them when we look for our next property in a couple of years! :)
5th Jul 2024 (11 weeks ago)James & Daryl are superstars. We've just sold our flat and any question now matter if it was small or complicated it was addressed professionally, thoroughly, and promptly. Market pricing was insightful, even with a unique property. Also, professional relationship building with us, our buyers and the onward chain even allowed us to successfully navigate a very unwelcome gazundering situation. Very knowledgeable and very patient. And, BTW, we purchased the same flat via them 5 years ago, and the service was exactly the same quality.
18th Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)For the sake of anonymity I won’t mention any names… The agent arrived late and didn’t notify me until 15 mins after the schedule time to let me know they will be a further 15-20 mins. They confirmed viewings for two properties and then only told us one was under offer when eventually showing up and claimed they notified us and that the email confirmation would reflect this… which it didn’t as it said we had two viewings. Then they told my wife to just forget about it rather rudely when she respectfully expressed her disappointment. They then accused me of not being serious when giving a genuine offer and proceeded to lecture me on the phone without giving me a proper chance to speak. I had to respectfully interrupt them to get a word in. It’s a shame really we have been looking for properties for over a year now and this was the first time we were exposed to this level of inconsideration.

They helped me to buy, let out and sell my property in Finchley and throughout they were extremely helpful, and 100% reliable. I felt I could trust them to give me an honest response to any query I had, and I felt well supported as a landlord as well as a seller. Highly recommend this team... if only there were more out there like them!

17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)What a different way to sell a home, with supportive, gentle and trustworthy people. We’d been mulling over the idea of relocating out of London for years and even discussed putting our home on the market with Unique previously. What we like is that there is no big sales pitch, no pressure to sell, just listening and responding. But more importantly, keeping both our buyers and us calm, communicative and friendly throughout the sale, so it felt as smooth as it could possibly be. We’re not planning to do move again any time soon, but we’d definitely use Unique if we were.

11th Jan 2023 (1 year ago)We were left without hot water for 5+ months. We were hit with a £900 waterbill after no clarity on whether we were liable for this. We were given our eviction notice at 11:30pm the night before we were due to renew. When it was time for viewings, times were not confirmed so we had random people turning up to our door. Our deposit took 6+ weeks to be returned in which Links took £1000+ Unprofessional, unethical, shifty, no respect, and god-awful customer service. Please do yourselves a favour and stay well away from this tragedy of a company.

She kept on communicating with us the whole time. Everything was managed and all the paperwork was carried out very quickly as well. I love the apartment I moved in, Thank you very much for all your support and effort. We are enjoying our new residence.

Instead of going for the same kind of corporate, profit driven, pushy stereotype that we have all come to know (and loathe) the team at Hestia’s are the opposite. Their focus is on individuals, they want to really get to know and help people. The people who’s houses they are tasked with selling but also the people who want to buy them. We instinctively got on well with the team from our first meeting and it was just a pleasure working with them. Conversations were always professional and productive, but most importantly they were conversations and at no point did we feel dictated to. Viewings were handled respectfully; communication was great with plenty of notice at every turn and they found perfect buyers for our home. As with any process there were complications, but Hestia’s made a huge effort to help us and our buyer overcome these issues which made everything work in the end. In short without their help, we would not have been able to move when we did. I would not hesitate in recommending Hestia’s to anyone trying to sell their home in South London. They are brilliant and we can’t thank them enough for the effort they put in.
