4th Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)Unfortunately, our experience with this branch of Winkworth was pretty diabolical. Tom, although a really nice bloke, was cagey and aloof during house viewings. Getting clear information out of him was difficult and he gave off the impression he was selling a dodgy secondhand car, not a half a million quid property. Even after our offer was accepted, he wasn’t particularly proactive and definitely not protective over the sale. Despite numerous requests from us and our solicitor he never ensured the property was removed from the market by all agents, despite multiple promises to do so. We were well into conveyancing, survey was done and searches were being carried out, when the seller pulled out to complete with another buyer and agent. According to the sellers solicitor, the pack had already been sent out to the other buyers…we were all blindsided and disgusted by this. We lost our legal fees, interest rate, mortgage offer, and it totally screwed up our life plans. When notified, Tom was unaware of these developments, offered no apology and then ghosted us without explanation. You’d think Winkworth would at least bring us other suitable properties as we were clearly ready to go, but we got nothing. We never heard from them again. By sheer coincidence, we had friends looking to buy in the same area soon after and they said the estate agent totally put them off buying from him. When enquiring who it was, it was Tom from Winkworth. It’s really unfortunate, because again, super nice bloke, but he just gave the impression that he couldn’t really be bothered and couldn't care less whether the sale went through or not. We never felt confident or respected as buyers which is pretty paramount for such a huge life changing purchase. We ended up buying through Dexters and it was like night and day. The agents over there were incredibly proactive and clearly understood that we all wanted the same thing…for the sale to go through! They rang me multiple times a week until completion with updates and support. A real shame to leave such a negative review but I can’t not warn future buyers because it was an incredibly stressful time for us.

5th Jun 2024 (15 weeks ago)Monika As a tenant I obviously have to liaise with letting agents and sometimes more regularly than other times. This branch of Andrews and its staff I’ve always held in high regard. In recent times I have had liaise with Monika for one thing or another and always found her very helpful and professional. I think she’s brilliant at her job - how speedily issues are dealt with, communication and general helpfulness. Thus far I am pleased as it all makes life more bearable in stressful times. Thank you Monika.

They stood apart from every other agent from the outset and I’ve never looked back having engaged them. Definitely recommend them.

They are vague, bullying and uncaring. We encountered so much dishonesty, insulting/rude behaviour and general pitfalls and grey areas that would never happen with any company of even modest repute. AVOID at all costs.
12th Nov 2020 (3 years ago)I have been with Knights since 2016 and have never had an issue with them, they have found me great tenants and managed my property well with no major issues. I have no complaints and won't be going anywhere for the foreseeable as I am more than happy with the service.

12th Jul 2023 (1 year ago)Reccomend only for people who like to complain, for those who live life according steriotipical, conditioned life model 9-5, 5 days a week, drinking on Fridays, Saturdays having a hangover on Sundays, hating Mondays and watching TV every night. As this managing agent going always satisfy the complainant needs without trying understand and bring both parties for clear face to face communication. Yes I am writing this review because I am deeply upset with regards recent email from Eddie. As working from office gives him a very clear perception of what actually going on in a communal garden. Also I am going try to do my best to find my daughter's picture of her bruised leg after she tripped into a hole that had no cover in a communal garden at the beginning of our tenancy. Wishing for this agency to grow and develop new ways of communicating and bring people together rather than divide them in wrong and right. ???? P. S I just have a feeling that this agency just afraid of loosing false sense of control and are really based on fear. Plus I take full responsibility of the things kidos are doing in communal areas. ????

She responded promptly and ensured the problems were sorted and the purchase went through. I would recommend the Agents and Charley without hesitation.

She makes every effort to support and deal with any day to day issues that may arise with the tenants. She liaises and carries out instructions from myself as promptly as possible and in a professional manner. She has good communication skills and will feedback liaison with tenants and any relevant work undertaken. I appreciate the help and support Cansu offers to me as a Landlady.

I never imagined an estate agent would be so helpful in every area of selling my house; and my expectations are high. The cost was less than half everyone else quoted me.
17th May 2023 (1 year ago)Only £99 in estate agency fees. Sold in a week! Easy to use portal to load up property info and photos also respond to queries and set up viewings etc. Highly recommend if you want to DIY.
