The team were friendly and supportive throughout. I was very pleased with the service and would recommend them to anyone in the area.

22nd Aug 2024 (17 days ago)Posted on behalf of my Mother: Following a family bereavement my family and I had to sell a house in Heston, Middlesex. A number of local estate agents were approached but we chose to use Shaw & Co. as the manager, Shiv Sahonta, was so impressive. Shiv Sahonta visited to give a valuation and, with great experience of the area, he suggested an asking price that was realistic and honest. He was very professional, friendly and punctual. Living 150 miles away our situation was a little unusual but we were able to discuss it easily with him and felt confident to leave the sale in his hands. In the event, a number of prospective buyers were soon found and the house was quickly sold. The manager and his staff were very efficient, keeping us fully informed at all times. Being so far away we could not easily go and take meter readings, etc. so Shiv personally went to the house to deal with all outstanding matters. We received a first class service. For anyone buying or selling property in the Heston, Middx. area we would whole heartedly recommend this company.
16th Aug 2024 (23 days ago)I went with Charrison Davis agency because he said that he could sell my house. He’s had lots of experience but actually in the three months that I was on the market I had one person who booked and cancel the booking 3 times. the communication was really bad from Charrison Davis. He kept pointing out that the house had no driveway and that why nobody was coming to look at it. My house is in a cul-de-sac with lots of offstreet parking instead of trying to sell it to them. He just kept trying to get me to lower my price so in the end I took my house off the market. I would never recommend them to anybody.

31st Aug 2024 (8 days ago)Unfortunately despite leaving a property that they managed I’ve learnt that they disclosed personal information to third parties to more than one person. I tried making contact with them as a complaint multiple times but they refused to respond. Obviously this is a breach of GDPR and have once again been referred to the Information Commissioner Office (ICO) It was because of me in the first instance they became legally registered with them when I did a legal referral to the ICO after finding out they weren’t registered and didn’t wish to be contrary to the law. 1st Feb 2022 (2 years ago)I reviewed good service from then although it wasn’t very perfect. It was a little bit hard sometimes to get through to some agents sometimes but apart from that I receive excellent service.

We were first time buyers and are hugely appreciative of the honesty and guidance Paul gave us during the offer process, unlike many SW London agents! After our offer was accepted the 5 star service continued all the way through to completion where Paul was very helpful, professional and responsive in dealing with various matters. This resulted in a very smooth exchange/completion. We cannot thank Paul and Moveli enough!

Helyn was proactive in providing a link between our side and the vendors solicitors and without her providing that function things could have gone wrong just relying on solicitors communications. Some delays from goview like getting the keys on completion day and being told that our offer was accepted was about a day after the fact. Would definitely use again though.

12th Jul 2024 (8 weeks ago)I don't know where to start!!! James did what I thought was impossible! He moved my in laws to a new home - but it took 2 years! With a probate on both sides and multiple delays due to ill health in the family, lease extensions and questions upon questions they finally moved! James is one of the most patient people I know and has provided support to my in laws over and above what he needed to. He gave them the confidence to move from a home they were in for over 35 years. His constant communication always put them at ease and provided assurance when they needed it the most. They needed to be in a bungalow close to family and that's exactly where they are now and are extremely happy. Thanks to James for make the impossible possible!

28th Jul 2024 (6 weeks ago)Im not one for such negative reviews but avoid this estate agents !!! I’m astonished how this branch has such high ratings as separate experiences as a tennant and prospective buyer have been nothing short of appalling. As a tennant coming up for renewal, the negotiation agent ghosted. For months. We had to chase multiple times over email and phone for over 2 months! When ringing the branch and saying the name the handler on the other side said this negotiation agent had had complaints by multiple other tennants waiting & it had been raised with her manager but she had gone on annual leave for a few weeks & cases had not been handled to someone else. When chasing with her manager we had to wait another 3 weeks. We contemplated emailing the landlord directly to tell him this because quite honestly not worth the fee the landlord is paying from our rent. If you get Mia Bearne at the branch I would suggest asking for someone else or taking your business elsewhere depending if you’re a tennant or landlord. How someone still has a job with multiple complaints against them I don’t know. It was her & realising she worked at this branch that sparked the need to write this review after the following has also previously happened here…. Noah, although kind, was similarly awful. I was looking at a property which on auction joint with Pattersons. At the time in their window it said nothing about the property being on auction. To be honest I think they did the seller of the property a huge disservice in bad advice on the both the price, the strategy and then telling him to do it by auction. It would have sold way more quickly & simply with a slightly lower price and without the auction. The communication between the auction house and Noah wasn’t great and I was hounded by both men in the middle of the working day multiple times days in a row. Noah said he would get back to me on something. He never did. I went into branch to chat to him, a colleague took my email and number for him to follow up which never happened. We then ended up in the bizarre scenario where the property was both for sale on the auction site and had already been let, with a let agreed by the Woking branch. What’s worse is I had to tell both the west byfleet branch and the auction house of this as I found it on Rightmove as let agreed whilst it was still on sale. This was news to all the others involved. As a seller it seems they give you poor advice & if they suggest the auction with pattinsons I suggest you run a mile. As a landlord they ghost good tennants of 0 information during contract renewal and as a result really don’t deserve the fee you pay them. As a buyer similarly extremely poor in communication & have no clue what’s going on amongst themselves between branches. From these multiple separate bad experiences I would suggest everyone simply takes their business elsewhere to somewhere better.
