27th Sep 2023 (11 mo. ago)Cannot recommend Joel and his team in Wells high enough. First class service and customer care. Regular updates on viewings with sound feedback. Once a potential buyer was secured, the team of four monitored the progress of the conveyancing law firms of both the buyer and ourselves, and what a bonus that was when ‘lethargy’ appeared to have ‘rooted’ itself in the process on several occasions. The commission was sensible and they deserved every penny. ????
4th Jul 2024 (9 weeks ago)Tor Estates dealt with the sale of our parents’ house following their demise, so it was a rather sad time for us. However, Neil and Holly handled the situation with empathy and helped to ease the process. The sale didn’t go as smoothly as was expected due to issues at the bottom of the chain but Holly was “on the case” every day liaising with solicitors etc and keeping us updated. In our opinion they are a very efficient, professional company and we would highly recommend them.
16th Dec 2023 (8 mo. ago)Having been model tenants and rented a property for 16 years I found they never pushed the landlord for repairs and when our roof leaked the served us a two months notice and did nothing to help us find alternative accomodation. When we visited them my disabled daughter could not get in through their office's stepped door in her wheelchair and non of the staff moved from their chairs to help.

We met Harry and Tracyann at our property who guided us through evaluation and viewings, they were both exactly what we had hoped for, open and informative. From that point on I mostly spoke with Bridget. She is amazing. Always there to speak to and send messages to, a huge asset to the team. I really can’t thank Bridget enough for all she did for us and the way she worked tirelessly on our behalf. Not only was she so friendly she also made me feel genuinely supported throughout the sale of our property. She was happy to relay back and forth to multiple parts of our chain. Worth her weight in gold!

30th Aug 2024 (8 days ago)We found Jack very friendly and helpful. he was the one who took us on a viewing. We had quite a few viewings on that day and he was very patient with us. Also there was quite a few problems near the end and if you hadn’t been for Matt going above and beyond, we would not be moving next week.
20th Aug 2022 (2 years ago)Despite promises of being two people to run our open house, it felt like they sent the office junior who knew nothing about the property, and seemed to be nothing more than a glorified doorman. This meant that out of 20 viewing (and being assured of getting “7 or 8 offers well over the asking price” we had just two- one well below the offers over price. From there, the communication was practically non existent unless we done the chasing. We had used a different branch of theirs before who I would rate 5 star, but Colchester high street branch was terrible this time. Our final thoughts was that the house was undersold on the day, and awful communication.
20th Jul 2024 (7 weeks ago)The sale was quick and easy and everything was handled for me. The estimate was very off as we achieved £30,000 less than I previously had an offer for but it was a quick sale so am happy.
10th May 2024 (17 weeks ago)I worked with Oliver and Maisy on the sell of my house, both are very professional, they kept me up to date all the way through, I highly recommend and will use them again in the future.

Communication was excellent, he really drove things forward with the sale and he was always available to help. All in all a great experience from initial valuation with George, photos with Nicki and the top man Spencer! Would thoroughly recommend George James!

17th Oct 2021 (2 years ago)Very clever, come across all nicey nicey but two face springs to mind. We spent 2.5 years in one of there properties, we paid on dot every month and the house was kept in top condition by us. After 2 lots of cancer I suffer with anxiety and depression, well what we where put through only to find out was lies. We were told that the owner was moving back and the stress of finding somewhere was a nightmare, more added pressure. I've now gone part time due to the stress and my immune system has taken a hammering... Lies lies and yep more lies.back to Italy very soon.. Plenty other agents out there I've just seen this so adding it, we wee paying £725 in September it's now £895 shocking....
