17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.
2nd Nov 2021 (2 years ago)I have just purchased a property through Equus Property. Celia was fantastic, she was always available when I needed a question answered, she stayed in regular contact with me from the very first viewing right through to completion. Celia went above and beyond her duties, she helped speed up the process by speaking to solicitors and chasing things up for the vendor and I. I highly recommend Equus Property and when the time comes to move on i would not hesitate in contacting them to market my property. Thank you Celia for all of your help.

13th Feb 2024 (7 mo. ago)I would highly recommend Fine & Country and the team in West Malling , Michael was very honest with us from the beginning managed our expectation whilst having a genuine commitment to achieving the best outcome for us , we felt the team Emma and Karen were proactive in their marketing of the property and we were continually kept well informed both verbally and electronically throughout the whole process . Excellent communication and attention to detail from all the team we would highly recommend to anyone looking to sell a property.

28th Aug 2024 (19 days ago)For the future customers of this company, please be alert and aware of fictitious property viewing. You should check whether someone gets the opportunity to view the property far ahead of the day you are going to do it. My partner and I enquired about a house in Exeter managed by Legg & Co. They let us know that the property viewing is planned for Friday and Saturday, and they assigned me to the property viewing on Friday morning. However, nobody was at the house at the appointed time. When I called the office, They said there had been property viewings on Tuesday, and all of them applied for this house, so they closed the property viewing process. Several flaws in the service process came up. First, I am not sure why they did not let me know the change of status on property although they had abundant time from Tuesday. The attitude of an employee whom I called is also an issue. Admittedly, the property market is not a daily business so it may not be likely to contact the company Legg & Co for property in the future. Nevertheless, for the long-term business, it is not a good attitude to approach it like "whatever": our property is going to be sold, so it is done, do you think I care?

26th May 2022 (2 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

They were always willing to help and visit the property when required making sure it was prepared for when viewers arrived. This is the second time we’ve used this agent and would highly recommend.

The team are extremely professional, friendly and make what is a very stressful process easy and as pain free as possible. From doing a phenomenal job listing my property, to arranging the viewings and finally hand holding through the sale process, they are an excellent agency to deal with.
22nd Aug 2024 (25 days ago)Martin & Co Tunbridge wells I don’t know where to start… From the moment we began our rental experience with them it was far from easy. Unfortunately they are a family run franchise which comes with is downfalls such as unapologetic staff, they all back one another and there is no customer service skills. I have attached some photos of the living conditions we were summoned too with Martin & Co thinking that this is habitable standards. In the end I had my own builder surveyor look at the property who deemed it mouldy, damp and inexcusable to not fix. We tried to leave the property due to health reasons relating to the photos however they pressured us for thousands of pounds or to stay and ride it out until the end of tenancy. Mid way the landlord had the EPC conducted in which the electrician needed to move all of the radiators and subsequently left behind holes in the wall that bugs, dampness and spiders loved! When asked if work was going to be done to fix this David the owner said “it might be I’m busy right now with my family”.- it never was! We were continuously blamed for the mould even though there was evidence from the previous inventory & tenant. Now we know why our property tour was made so quick when we first enquired. My partner had to complain about David on many occasions due to his rude & degrading language towards young women and often sounded drunk. A clear sign to us was the empty bottles under his desk when driving past the franchise also! We had 6 monthly checks where they would take photos of our private belongings which we were never made aware of until a man turned up at the doorstep with a camera. I was always happy & accepting of routine checks but I have never had one who took regular photos? When it came to leaving and gaining our deposit back we was charged for the electricians damage and not given any justification for charges. We lost so much and £££ worth of furniture and clothing. We lived our final months with nothing. Reflecting back we were made depressed and miserable by Martin & Co I feel saddened and mentally exhausted from having to put up with these slum letting agents for as long as I did! Please stay clear if you want your health, sanity & to breathe! There is so much more negative points to say however I feel I am only doing this to warn potential renters and Martin & co will never be apologetic or accept their disgraceful actions.
9th Sep 2024 (7 days ago)Tim was very calm and straightforward. He didn’t believe in promising things that weren’t realistic. We had other evaluations, but we felt he was right for us and we weren’t wrong. The photos he took really brought out the best features of the property and we had viewings quite quickly. Tim was always available when we had questions and we trusted his expertise and guidance.
31st Jul 2024 (7 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could

20th May 2024 (17 weeks ago)No communication, no advice and only one viewing in 10 weeks. Very poor agent. Won't ever be using them.
