5th Jul 2024 (17 weeks ago)I'm writing this review as a fellow estate agent. I've recently had Rural Scene in a chain with myself and Richard was absolutely fantastic. He is extremely proactive and provided us with updates weekly so that our chain moved forward smoothly and we have just today exchanged contracts. If anyone is looking for a rural estate agent then I would highly recommend Rural Scene. As an agent myself the good ones stand out and Richard is brilliant.

1st Oct 2024 (4 weeks ago)The photos that were taken of our home were not acceptable and two days later they sent out a different photographer. The commission rate was higher than most other estate agents. They gave us feedback from people they had contacted, but the feedback was very negative not from the estate agent but by the people they had spoken to which tended to put us off and we have now gone back to our original estate agents.

The property was formerly advertised on Wednesday pm and by the following Monday they had done about 7 viewings that resulted in 3 firm bids. These were all above the guide price and the best one was agreed. The guide price was in line with other estate agents so was not pitched low to get a quick sale

15th Mar 2024 (7 mo. ago)Initially good to deal with. Purchased a new home through them and found them pleasant. However, things have gone downhill after we found that the new home we purchased was not mortgageable. Have told us that they have nothing to do with the deposit we paid even though they sent the e-mail with bank details on. I never imagined an estate agent would be so helpful in every area of selling my house; and my expectations are high. The cost was less than half everyone else quoted me.

This was important to me as these types of details are what can ultimately result in a sale. The service and speed of response has been fantastic from all the team.

Communication had to be prompted from the start, no viewings until I suggested changes to the advert, the is no responsibility taken by the staff. They are more happy to ignore your questions and hope you go away. Steer well clear

It was always Stephanie or Victoria who answered the phone - in an upbeat manner - so they knew what was going on. They also made sure my email enquiries got a response the same day; things were never left up in the air. They cooperated well when things weren't straightforward so we managed to complete successfully in the end. I need to mention Guy from the letting department as well. He left no question unanswered when I came with a few over a series of days.
