8th May 2024 (11 days ago)Three estate agents were asked to tender for the opportunity to sell our late parents house in Didcot, after all the tenders had been submitted we chose Thomas Merrifield and its representative Jamie to act on our behalf. And what a good choice we made, Jamie was never ever less than totally professional, the marketing of the house was quickly organised with the results put online promptly, subsequent enquiries and viewings were dealt with by Jamie, to our surprise it wasn't long before an offer was received which we were happy to accept. A mere twelve weeks from that initial meeting and all the legal stuff has been completed, the sale of the house is now finalised, new owners have taken possession and our old house of 40+ years is about to embark on a new adventure with its new family. We could not have done this without the help, guidance and advice from the team at Thomas Merrifield, especially Jamie. Thank you guys, you are heartily recommended.
26th Jun 2023 (10 mo. ago)Rang in the morning to book a viewing as was keen to see a property, was told someone would call back shortly, I also asked if the property was still available and it was. Just over an hour and a half and no call back, rang again but I wouldn’t get put through to sales. Eventually got a call back and a very blunt women said sorry is sold subject to contract so can’t get a viewing. Which is fair enough but the tone it came across was not the best. Didn’t even get offered any other properties, or get asked what my budget or type of property I was looking for. Clearly not wanting to sell properties to anyone.
6th Feb 2024 (15 weeks ago)We received outstanding service from all the team at Thomas Merrifield, from placing the house on the market to completion. Marketing was excellent and the house sold very quickly. Nothing was too much trouble for them, especially Charlie who regularly kept in touch with updates as the sale proceeded. Charlie was 'our rock' throughout; nothing was too much trouble for him, reassuring and supporting us at every stage. We would highly recommend the team and give 10 stars (if it were possible!)

Their communication was excellent, always keeping us updated and very responsive if we left messages or emails. They worked really hard to find buyers for a slightly unusual property. I would highly recommend them.- 9th May 2024 (10 days ago)Savills Oxford has sold two of our houses in the last 3 years and they have done fantastically well. Incredibly professional, always reachable, supportive and understanding throughout the process. In addition we made a tidy profit on both houses. From the very beginning, through exchange and past completion Savills was always there and supportive. I would like to mention Nicky Quentel and Huw Warren who are absolutely outstanding. I wish I had more houses to sell with them. Mike S

Nothing seems too much trouble. We're buyers from afar, if we were selling in Faringdon then I know who we'd use!

We were told that a decision on our offer would be made by the end of the week, and indeed it was accepted by then. Jeremy was really very good: helpful, honest, reassuring, knowledgeable and went the extra mile to be of assistance.
