4th May 2024 (15 days ago)Just bought a house through Foxes with Ben. Havent always had positive experiences with estate agencies, but can honestly say this was so different. Easiest ever purchase. Ben was so helpful and accomodating, nothing was too much trouble. Jo kept us regularly updated on every step of our sale progress, we got the house we wanted at a good price, just got keys and so so happy. A very nice personal touch with the little welcome box, its those personal touches and that customer service that makes such a difference to a buyers experience. Would absolutely recommend, thank you Ben and all the Foxes team for such a smooth purchase experience. 10/10.
21st Apr 2024 (28 days ago)I was recommended by my client to go with Slades for the sale of our flat in southbourne, she said how great James Greenhalgh was and we went for them and never looked back. We listed our flat back in April 2023 and admittedly it was a tough year for sales but James went the extra mile to make sure we would sell, we had extra photos taken, there was a lot time spent to get our listing attractive. There was never too much to ask. James remained very calm and professional which helpful as it was such a stressful and anxious time. We finally sold and James ensured the sale went as smoothly as possible and any issues I had James would address them and promptly get back to me. We completed within 12 weeks (selling and buying) and we could not of done this without the help of James. Thank you again!

15th May 2024 (4 days ago)After sending my feedback directly to Palmer Snell over a week ago and as expected not receiving a response, i will now post here. My partner and I decided to both sell our flats to hopefully buy somewhere together. As two first time sellers, we have had an awful experience with Palmer Snell. Please see the reasons below we decided to take both properties off the market with Palmer Snell and list with a different agent. - From the first viewing onwards, we have had loo to constantly chase for feedback for days and days after the viewings. This was frustrating from the get-go, especially with the difficulty of getting through to the office. On some days, I called hourly to try and actually get through to someone. I dread to think how difficult it would be to try and arrange a viewing. -On multiple occasions, it would take weeks to get a response to texts or emails despite multiple follow-up emails and voicemails. This started once we had signed a contract; before signing the contracts, we would get responses within hours, which never quite sat right with us. - At one point, a potential buyer asked questions regarding the lease, which I provided the same day to Palmer Snell. When I called to ask about this potential buyer a week later, I was told the agent had been too busy to read the lease and asked if I could do it instead. At this point, the buyer was no longer interested. No apology for the lack of communication or incompetency was provided. It was a 'why don't you do yourself' approach. If we wanted to sell the properties ourselves, we wouldn't have hired an agent. -When we had valuations for both of our properties, we were told photographers would be attending. This was never arranged for my property despite chasing this up multiple times. Photos were taken on an iPhone, which would not have been a problem if we were not told differently prior to signing a contract. -We were also told our listing would be premium listings - it took multiple emails and calls to actually get this to happen which we found really unprofessional. -Throughout, there has just been an overall lack of contact - every update from pre and post-sale we have needed to chase for ourselves. There was no initiative to help the sale through or to provide any form of reassurance. As first-time sellers, this is something we really struggled with, and the whole process has lacked any form of personal touch or consideration and ultimately just been made as stressful as possible. We now have a complete lack of confidence that Palmer Snell has been doing everything possible to help with the sale. To be entirely honest, I would have resented making payment if the sale were to have continued, as it would be for a service that has only ever involved opening the front door around five times, nothing more. We both had a really good impression after meeting Michael and Connor at the valuations and are really shocked at how we have been treated. The silver-lining of our flats being marketed elsewhere is that we will not have to make payment to Palmer Snell but to an agent who is willing to do the work. On a side note, since listing the properties elsewhere within only a matter of weeks ago we now have an offer at full asking price, our experience with the new agent could not have been more different.

They take a relatively unique & bespoke approach to property planning that I had only received in the London market previously making them stand out from the other local agencies.

We dealt mainly with Emma, who remarkably managed to help keep us sane throughout the process that was plagued by delays outside our control. Communication was excellent throughout, and Emma was particularly good at chasing the various solicitors and other parties to help move the process along. I honestly felt Emma might have helped take weeks off the process, and would highly recommend Katie Fox to anyone selling or buying.

We didn’t understand how it worked in the UK. Also we didn’t speak English well and were afraid to miss some pitfalls. But Sammy and Emma were incredibly supportive from start to finish our rental term. Strongly recommend Mays. Thank you, ladies.

They have helped me a lot over the years, and nothing is too much trouble. Phillip tthe owner is the backbone behind the company and is a great guy ,he has helped me and my family in ways you could only imagine, he is in my opinion one in a million Thanks Phillip

Every member of the Team delivers exceptional customer care with every aspect of my contract from marketing, Tenancy checks, renewals, rental statements, inspections & Tenants’ call outs. They are fantastic communicators, deal with all actions in a timely manner & they manage my Tenants & me with consideration & care. Thacker & Revitt have worked hard to develop a sublime list of Preferred Suppliers to handle any call outs. They clearly ensure that everyone on their list prices the jobs fairly. All call outs are attended to swiftly & carried out to a high standard. I particularly like the fact that Thacker & Revitt use mostly local, family run businesses for call outs & maintenance jobs. I highly recommend Thacker & Revitt property needs be they Sales or Rentals…best decision I ever made!

Their communication was excellent, always keeping me informed and addressing any concerns promptly. The pictures and videos they got of my property were amazing and that’s because they really spend the time to make sure things are perfect! They really do pay attention to all the little details which is really important when selling and purchasing a house. I highly recommend Simon and Co to anyone in search of a reliable and trustworthy and genuinely lovely estate agent!

They remained positive and supportive when chains fell apart and always provided sound advice. They were a pleasure to deal with and pushed the process through to the end. Ceri is excellent with tenants, and very proactive, which minimises our involvement, although anything major is always discussed with us. if there are any questions to which we need answers, Ceri has virtually always replied the same day, and sometimes within seconds or minutes of being asked!
