Shockingly rude. My first experience with this particular estate agent and I'm so glad to say that I'm thrilled they showed their colours before I even rented a property from them. I booked a viewing through their website on a property they have advertised where the tenant would be out 'in June'. No mention of June 2025, just June, so anyone would assume June this year. Why would an estate agent communicate that so badly? I got a call back on Monday to confirm my viewing and the man I spoke to confirmed my 6:30pm viewing on Tuesday 13th August. He called me, so he had my details. I turned up at the property 45 mins early to scout the area, and thought I would give the estate agents a call to make sure someone would be meeting us there as no one had sent an email or any means of confirmation about this evening. I'm so glad I did because it really sealed the deal for me! No one provides their names when they answer the phone by the way, they just expect you to know who you spoke to. He was so impatient and rude in telling me I have it wrong because my details don't exist on their system, and there is no viewing arranged for tonight. Really? Is everyone at that branch incompetent? Why did one member of staff confirm and answer my questions on Monday morning and another tell me on Tuesday, there's no record of me on their system? YOU RANG ME ON MONDAY FROM THE DETAILS I PROVIDED ON YOUR WEBSITE.
To the rude, insulting man I spoke to tonight, please don't feel you are the only property I am viewing. I'm viewing many.. I just want to say thank you because I will never go near Addison Townsend again, nor recommend them. I hope your company provide you with basic telephone skills so you can in future, conduct yourself in a more professional manner.
