22nd Jan 2026 (10 weeks ago)The whole team at Arkwright’s in Saffron Walden have been a joy to work with. From initial contact, to the sales details - including a very inventive video, made on the only rainy day for weeks and weeks with a ‘Singing in the rain’ sound track! l had several viewings in the first week and an agreed sale within around 2 weeks ( after having been with another agent for 4 months with no viewings at all) The whole process has been easy, efficient, profession, respectful and friendly. I would highly recommend them and especially if you have a slightly quirky property. Thanks to all.- 6th Mar 2026 (29 days ago)We have been tenants of a property managed by Cheffins Newmarket for almost 8 years. From the beginning until the end, it has been a flawless experience. Always very responsive, professional, and understanding. I've been asked to provide feedback on an area where they can improve, but I really struggle to think of anything. I strongly recommend this agency. If you take care of the property, there will be no issues.

We had initially called them regarding another property but Lauren was extremely enthusiastic about our needs and preferences and suggested some more properties that would be more suitable for us. We ended up going with one of those properties recommended by her and love it so far. Megan was super helpful in sorting out all the paperwork and getting the contract ready. She is very approachable and easy to talk to. She explained the terms of the contract very clearly and we are very happy with the experience thus far! She was also always available to answer any questions we had at all times. I really appreciated their suggestions and positive attitude throughout the process. Highly recommend Abbotts! :)

He was brilliant, keeping me up to date throughout and arranging extra viewings as, and when, required. Always replied to my many enquiries very promptly. Helped to complete on a tight 8 week timeline, pre Christmas, due to seller requirements. Very happy to be in my first home for Christmas, can’t thank and recommend Mark and the team at Compass Elevation enough!
20th Mar 2026 (15 days ago)Intercounty dealt with our sale and purchase professionally and with a smile despite some setbacks that might have daunted other estate agents. They were very good at dealing with all the various parties involved - and keeping us in the loop. All the staff I dealt with were polite, efficient and knowledgable.
15th Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)We decided to use Sharman Quinney to sell our apartment in November 2024, however our experience was very disappointing, and not reflective of the positive reviews we had previously seen. It took them 15 days to get our advert up on Rightmove once photographs had been taken. Despite being promised our advert would be uploaded before Christmas, it was not uploaded until after Boxing Day. It included several mistakes (things we were not made aware of before it went live). We chased this numerous times, and although some issues were fixed, various issues with the advert still remained. After a month of no viewings and an advert that was never fully corrected, we cancelled our contract with them altogether (at no cost). We then decided to go with a private estate agent who uploaded our advert within 48 hours of photographs. The advert was exactly how we wanted it, and an offer was made on our first viewing, the day after it was put on Rightmove! We are now in our new house and so happy we made the decision to leave SQ. Everything happens for a reason I guess.

Even though we were unable to sell with Kevin Henry due to location, Nicole was the only agent to help us and support us during the difficult task of finding a home. And she found us our perfect home. A real credit to the company that goes above and beyond to help her client’s.

She was extremely responsive when we first got in touch to arrange a viewing and made the whole process very straightforward. On the day, Bella was punctual (in fact, she was already there when we arrived), and she came across as very professional and approachable. She was honest about the property and didn’t try to oversell it, which we really appreciated. Everything she had described beforehand matched what we saw on the day, and she talked us through the house clearly and concisely. Bella was also very pleasant to deal with and followed up promptly the next day to gather feedback, which shows a great level of care and professionalism. Overall, a 10/10 experience working with her – we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bella to others.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

30th Mar 2026 (5 days ago)Fantastic letting agents, quick to respond to emails and deal with issues as quickly as they can. As a house we have put in multiple maintenance requests in over the course of our tenancy (fixing the boiler, installing an extract hood, a new bathroom extractor ect.) and Gray and Toynbee sorted all quickly and followed up to make sure works were completed to a high standard. Fantastic service all round.

We spoke regularly to Mike Bidwell who was our main contact and he was very proactive in trying to move the purchase along. Mike also went out of his way to resolve an issue after we'd moved into the property, which we are very thankful for. Based on my experience I have no hesitation in recommending Exquisite Homes to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.
