20th Sep 2019 (5 years ago)So many problems and issues with this agent, god knows why they are still trading . If you are a landlord, please avoid this agent at ALL COSTS if you are intending to let your property out. I have now moved my properties to another agent as Arlington estates had not paid me 3 months rent and in the end decided to move to another agent. Still, they have not given me the outstanding July rent ( its now September) and Amit, the owner is avoiding me. Don't know how to get the rent off this agent now? The tenants are also annoyed as well because they had paid the rent on time to Arlington and were surprised that Arlington have still not paid me. AVOID.

They informed me of everything going on each and every viewing that was happening with plenty of time,for us to organise ourselves..Absolutely Fantastic.

17th Dec 2023 (9 mo. ago)We are family of 3 from HKG. We rent a house before coming to uk from a Chinese but it’s totally different from what we expected and far beyond the contract. We hurry up look for other place to move and keep sending request but very few responses from the property agency because we have no job references. Until we met Matthew from Good Neighbour Estate, we got a light of hope. He kept updating me the new properties they have on hand that suited our requirements and budget and arranged house visit quickly. You are a very responsible and reliable agent. Appreciated your help and highly recommend to everyone who is in need to look for a comfortable home.

25th Sep 2019 (4 years ago)This estate agent was worse than useless, very rude and slow. Messed me about with the house I was supposed to buy and move into and was I chargeed £2,500 before they could take the property off the market. Then the sitting tenant refused to move out and it took over 6 months get our money back and only achieved this by report ing them to the Property Ombudman. Lost close to £ 3,000 in findin g an alternative property to buy and had to take them to court. Now they have movrd from their Orsett road premises after they got expelled from the property ombufsman membership and are nowhere to be found... BeEWARE AND DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL

23rd Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)These guys smashed it out the park with absolutely everything. From the first meeting with Jonjo to the final day when I dropped of the keys for completion. They wasn’t the cheapest agent but i believe in value for money and this is what I got. We were constantly updated with feedback even when viewings went a little quiet they never gave up. Hammond and smith are agents with a different kind of vibe and that’s what attracted me
