The sale agent Carlos has only his own interest (or the seller) at heart, was not helpful, and slow response, and always made us feel, the buyer of the place, a burden. Any questions we had felt it was not responded correctly, or ignored so the buyer cannot find the true state of the home. It made the whole buying process painful. A feedback which we have shared to himself.
3rd Sep 2024 (17 days ago)We didn’t think of asking anyone else to sell our house, Paul Wallace had sold it to us originally along with every other house on a small new build estate, and done the resales in the 10 years since. We’d seen a house we wanted to buy and were keen to secure a sale in order to be proceed-able and put an offer in. We met Peter Gold from the Hoddesdon office and listened to his view on value, on other recent sales, and followed his advice on what level to price the house at in order to achieve our objective. He had a few viewings in a short space of time and then received an offer at asking price, his advice on value worked brilliantly. Peter and his team were superb throughout, often helping in the conveyancing process with queries and keeping us all on track with a level head and practical approach. I couldn’t recommend him and his team strongly enough.

10th Apr 2024 (23 weeks ago)I rented my property through this agency in April 2023. Last month, I erroneously sent them £600 which was meant for the landlord. Only one person has acknowledged my many calls and e-mails however they are now ignoring me and have still not send my money back. Going to get the police involved today. Not sure what is going on.
10th Sep 2024 (10 days ago)Had my first viewing for flat that i really wanted with Rokeah, went through everything there and then, communication was excellent from Jay and Rokeah, and all went smoothly, within 11 days collected keys and moved in. No doubt when looking again , will use dimension estates.

They were very flexible and ensured that we had everything we needed. Any small teething issues with the move in were managed quickly and with care.

16th Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)Using a smaller Estate Agent like Garrisons, gave us a much more personalised experience as opposed to the larger chains that were a lot less personal - response rates were better & having one agent assigned to our property meant that he knew it better.
10th Sep 2024 (10 days ago)Comb through paperwork and avoid sales pressure techniques employed at this branch; - You do not gain much advantage by buying and selling with the same agent - shop around and be patient with initial delays caused. Any promises that they can speed things through will evapourate as soon as your contract is signed - Avoid the exclusivity clauses that tie you to them for a period of time. They will tell you that it is standard accross the market. It's a lie - Watch the fees like a hawk. Comb through your contract. Most importantly do not fall for the high pressure techniques used where they pressure you to sign contracts there and then. Ignore the nasty "everybody else signs straight away" techniques. Just because DA are a big organisation, the Del Boy tactics are strong ant there is no professional integrity in their sales team. Very disappointed. Came across people who seemed to work hard but the dishonest players in their midst have made me doubt the ethos of the whole company

31st Aug 2024 (20 days ago)We tried to let out our house in Woodford Green . Unfortunately the company couldn’t make it due to the miscommunication between the would be tenant and the agent . The tenant piled up the requirements and contractor kept on doing and being a landlord only kept loosing the rent and the money in construction. Not happy with their work and approach .May be next time they does good and I remove the review .
