25th Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)We were persuaded to use an auction method. But there was no communication regarding viewings or once the auction ended. There was little to no vetting of potential buyers. Messages and emails went unanswered. Altogether a poor experience and we went with a different agent who delivered a confirmed sale two weeks later.

5th Mar 2024 (11 weeks ago)Terrible service from DavidLee, would not recommend them to anyone. Staff were rude and unhelpful and caused unnecessary stress to the sale of my property. Do not use DavidLee if you want a simple transaction to go smoothly!

She made my experience with Abbotts Basildon seamless and sweet, giving me constant updates and guidance. She eased me into my new and lovely home with specialised apps to setup my services at affordable rates. She made sure my new home was pristine clean. We were informed straight away, when we could collect the keys and they even gave us a little moving in pack too, which I thought was a really nice touch. They're friendly and efficient. Thanks guys!

22nd Apr 2024 (28 days ago)Saylan and the team at Stonebridge were an absolute pleasure to work with when selling my flat. I'd had bad experiences with some of the larger agencies so I moved to Stonebridge because I'd heard such good things about them. They are very personable and create an approach to sales that is bespoke to your property - really getting to know the unique things about it that will appeal to buyers and help sell it - and constantly keep you updated throughout the process. Saylan was a real professional and constantly came up with initiatives that would work in the current climate. They achieved success where the bigger agents did not, and I'm 100% sure it was because they put the time in to make it personal without any of the jargon and take pride in doing a good job for you. I would highly recommend Saylan and the team!

5th Apr 2024 (6 weeks ago)This is my 2nd bad experience to this agency. Never again. Will not bother asking for viewing for their properties. Called yesterday confirming our jobs and all information including my small child. Everything is well and told me they will call me back. The day after I follow up for the viewing request and they suddenly changed mind that they can't accept the child which they said a day before that it was okay. We never experienced this with much more known agencies than PORTICO! AVOID!

25th Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)Lived in a flat provided by the agency for almost 2 years. The state of the flat when I moved in wasn’t great and everything broke. Boiler broke several times, once for 3 weeks over the winter and the agency didn’t seem to mind it too much and they “generously” let £50 off my rent. All my heaters broke as well and had to be changed. The agency couldn’t tell me, who my electricity provider was when I was trying to change providers and the actual electricity meter was registered under the wrong address so it was impossible to change it. Before moving out they asked me to provide the flat for a 4 hour hours long viewing sessions, which I agreed to and the girl who was carrying out the viewings locked herself into the bathroom, disturbing my expensive theatre experience. Luckily an emergency locksmith got her out leaving a mess. Whenever anything broke, the handymen would leave a mess and I got to clean. When moving out, the procedure the estate agency has was extremely stressful, they ended up deducting for cleaning after the flat was professionally cleaned. They ended up deducting for minor damages for things that were already used and not in great condition, when I moved in. I would stay away from this company in the future.

I have been informed of every stage of the selling process (which is the moment is still ongoing). We are using their recommendation for a solicitor who again is very good.
