29th Apr 2024 (20 days ago)We recently sold our property with Parkers and we cannot recommend them enough. All their staff go above and beyond to help with any questions or concerns. Gavin offered us very good advice at the time of valuation and how to approach a challenging market. His professionalism and knowledge of the local market were incredible and we felt at complete ease going with Parkers because of it. Once the house was on the market we had the pleasure of dealing with Georgi and Jordan. The early viewings and feedback were handled fantastically by Georgi with great communication and honest feedback. The past few months most my dealings have been with Jordan who has gone so far above and beyond for us that we cannot thank him enough. We had some difficulties with an onward purchase and were very stressed at the time. Jordan went out of his way to help us through this, even messaging us well out of his hours of operation with updates and advice. An incredibly considerate and lovely person, he is an asset to parkers. Having dealt with a number of other agents in Norfolk (where we are moving too) it was so stark to me how much Parkers stands head and shoulders above anyone else. Harry sold the house, but Aimee navigated the tricky waters of an unwieldy chain professionally and cheerfully. We have recommended her to several friends and neighbours.

They took on board my input into the brochure and sold immediately to a waiting client.- 6th Feb 2024 (15 weeks ago)We received outstanding service from all the team at Thomas Merrifield, from placing the house on the market to completion. Marketing was excellent and the house sold very quickly. Nothing was too much trouble for them, especially Charlie who regularly kept in touch with updates as the sale proceeded. Charlie was 'our rock' throughout; nothing was too much trouble for him, reassuring and supporting us at every stage. We would highly recommend the team and give 10 stars (if it were possible!)
12th May 2024 (7 days ago)At first everything was fine I was not the perfect Customer by a long way however I am paying for a service We had offers which I was told to take which I declined I held on and on and eventually got my asking price Once sold it all felt a little pushy the week up to the moving day a lot of phone calls all needless about what time are you basically getting out the contract said 2pm On the day some old Rubbish about logistics ???? actually wanted to know at 0930 what time we are leaving several other calls followed in the end I said I would drop the keys of when I had finished moving At 1330 I took the keys to NEA on going into the shop I got greeted by a lady asking what do I want I said to drop keys She said he is on a call and is it rental or sales I said Sales she snatched the keys of me with out even a thank you Once they have your Money it seems they don’t care I have emailed Mark Peto which I still haven’t had a reply I was warned about NEA but thought I would give them a chance
6th May 2024 (13 days ago)Earlier this year Walmsley both sold our house and the house we bought. We had an incredibly good experience with them in both instances. The people at Walmsley were fantastic at every stage: showing us houses, getting ours on the market, and during the buying/selling process. We couldn't be home when the photos of our house were being taken but Craig met the photographer and handled everything for us, including moving some incredibly heavy boxes to get a good photo of our spare room - something we did not expect him to do! Paula was absolutely fabulous once offers had been accepted and we were going through the buying/selling process. Like every house purchase, there were some bumps in the road, but Simon and Paula kept us well informed and we managed to navigate through. Now we are in the house of our dreams where we get to raise our toddler!
27th Apr 2024 (22 days ago)Thanks to everyone at the Tilehurst Parkers office for all their help and support in selling my Dad’s home. It’s never easy selling a home, more so when you are doing it at a distance and there are several family members involved but Parkers have helped us through every step of the way. They have been thoroughly professional and prompt to respond when we’ve needed it. They have lived up to the sales pitch with effective marketing and on going support, helping us with contractors where needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. The house was originally sold to my parents by Parker’s more than 60 years ago. Dad was very pleased that they were still just as reliable. Having the WhatsApp group was really effective for us as a family. Thanks once again. Hazel

- 14th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)It was a fantastic experience renting through ROMANS Thilehurst branch! We tried out many agencies in Reading, so we have a comparison. We have seen many flats and the way how they show them, so we can tell Romans Thilehurst are the best :) From start to finish, their team was professional, but also they had such a human approach and were incredibly helpful. Brilliant agent Nathan Poulter showed us the flat. Brilliant Lorraine Coakley continued our process with paperwork and all the formalities. The letting process was smooth and transparent, making us feel well-supported throughout our entire process. I appreciate their dedication to ensuring people have an excellent letting experience. I highly recommend Romans for anyone looking to find their perfect home with zero hassle!

We are in the process of buying through their Towcester branch and so far the communication, pragmatic advice and guidance and the general support on offer has been second to none. The whole team have been great although we've worked mainly with Karen, who has without doubt gone above and beyond with communication, following up third parties, and keeping the process moving as quickly as possible. If you are looking to buy or sell, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Howkins and Harrison.

30th Apr 2024 (19 days ago)Surely the 'Waitrose' of estate agents - we so appreciate the professionalism of the team members: they are great at communicating, especially being proactive about properties of interest, are accessible and engaged. Nothing seems too much trouble. We're buyers from afar, if we were selling in Faringdon then I know who we'd use!
18th Mar 2024 (9 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

We went through every detail about the property, and he took the time to answer every question I had. I'm now on my way to secure a new flat with Chancellors, and I'm confident it will be a quick and professional experience.
