16th Nov 2018 (5 years ago)lier staff in maintenance team , they never fixed thing shower heating not working since a week keep on telling someone come around nothing happen , give a smelling carpert promise to be clean once moved ask to clean it they say we organized someone to come and clean nothing done basically lier staff be carefull when taking any property for rent form this agent . as something goes wrong they not gona fixed it.
17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

13th May 2024 (17 weeks ago)Was interested in two different properties posted by Morris Dibben office in Hayling. First one I was messed around for the viewing, had a million calls between us and at the end changed their viewing rules and we weren’t able to view the new build property. Second property we went to view we asked to reserve and was told to apply via a form instead, which we received no answer for. After chasing them for nearly a month, asking for calls back and not receiving them we’ve just found out that the property we really wanted to reserve is gone. We were told we were unable to receive on the day even though we were the first to view… we’ve now lost the house we fell in love with due to the team’s inability to communicate, my partner seemed to get answers pretty quickly that the property was gone whereas I had to keep chasing and not getting information out of them. Clearly avoiding my calls, I just wanted to progress and was clearly not favoured by these estate agents. Would avoid.
19th Mar 2024 (25 weeks ago)Arranged a home visit promptly after our enquiry. Really knowledgeable about the area and resent sales etc. Gave us sensible advice about the selling price. Best selling fees from any of the agents in the area. Excellent brochure of photographs produced. Mark, Dan, Nigel, Laura and Rachel have all been so helpful steering us through something we are not familiar with. We highly recommend Treagust's Estate Agents
31st Aug 2024 (8 days ago)Lacie Bray knew the market and exactly how to get us the sale and price we wanted. We cannot knock Barnards as they did everything as required and got us 4 offers in the first week. We wanted a quick sale and they have ensured that we got what we wanted.

Always friendly and jolly would recommend and use again. Thank you all you achieved our dream of moving house.

9th Oct 2023 (10 mo. ago)- Original listing price was too high, I could see that the Agent could not - Communication was hit and miss - Reactive with their marketing, only really made changes after being repeatedly chased by me. - We accepted an offer which fell through - These things happen however the Agent didn't seem to have a clue as to what was going on with our buyers leading to our property being left off the market for 6 weeks needlessly, whilst assuring us the sale was safe. - Received a revised offer from our buyers, did not pass this on just rejected it on our behalf, nor were we informed that the buyer was dropping their offer by 20k - should have been a massive red flag - Lied to us on a number of times including saying we had refused delivery of a for sale board which we did not - Didnt seem to be interested in trying to push a sale, the attitude was 'the right people will come along'

We bought one house and sold two with them and every single time they went above and beyond. Communicating everything at every step and chasing everyone. When difficulties arose, they suggested creative solutions to overcome those and get to the finish line. I wouldn't work with anybody else.

Even though they were working for the seller, we felt supported and at ease throughout the entire buying process. At every stage, communication was prompt and our questions answered without delay. 24th Jul 2023 (1 year ago)Knight Frank were absolutely brilliant. Kate Erlam was completely amazing and I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone. They were far superior to any other estate agents we dealt with, highly professional but also friendly and very understanding when we had to delay due to mums illness and didn't pressure us at all. I honestly don't know how we would have got through the moving process without Kate. Thank you so much to Kate and everyone else we dealt with at Knight Frank.
31st Jul 2024 (6 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could

Poor at showing people around- I have cameras and heard a few remarks from the agent that were inaccurate and likely to put people off. Poor during initial conversation- making promises that were immediately broken about a house we loved that they were marketing. Also failed to carry out basic information gathering that we have later discovered is a legal requirement.

From start to finish she was professional and responsive, and I'm thoroughly happy all round. Definetly a 5-star, I recommend anyone looking to buy/sell a property in the portsmouth area to use ROK Marsh.
