19th Apr 2024 (6 weeks ago)I have contacted Priory Property Services on more than one occasion to organise viewings on properties they have listed on Zoopla. None of the agents call you back when they say they will, no response to emails and we have been lied to. Over a month ago there was a property listed on Zoopla with Priory, me and my partner contacted Priory and spoke to an agent who said we would be able to book a viewing on Friday as they had not received the keys to the property yet. So, we were planning on waiting until the Friday before we called them again. Within 24 hours after our phone call with Priory the property had been sold as it was marked as SOLD on Zoopla. We are still looking to buy a property and hate to see properties listed with Priory after our experience!
18th Apr 2024 (6 weeks ago)Rang to get a value of our property when the person answered the phone I asked if they did free valuations the women asked what was the reason... (Obviously it was for a value to see how much our house was worth) so I told her we had recently had work done and wanted to know what the value was so as we could make a decision on what we wanted to do with our home to which she replied very rude that they do not do that and that I should go on Zoopla and get a value you off there and then put the phone down... When we come to sell our house we will be avoiding these at all costs not a very good impression of their service.

18th Apr 2024 (6 weeks ago)It was the worst experience I have ever had with this company. I’m shocked!! They told me to send them my lease the landlord is interested in your business. I have provided all the requirements perfectly. Suddenly they called me and told me the landlord has chosen another tenant in private apart from the company and has decided to give it to another tenant. I have paid for expenses in lease preparations everything was perfect! I think it is the agents fault !!! But when a property, unit owner r a shop is given to a company only this company can do the renting or selling process… this is a big lie and it’s really a shame for this company..
2nd Mar 2024 (13 weeks ago)Avoid this company like the plague, in particular the Crewe branch. I had a truly awful experience with these so called professionals who went out of their way, with the landlord, to take nearly £2.5k from me for a property I "tried" to rent. The issue began the day I registered the address for my water usage PRIOR to moving in. This alerted the water company that someone was going to be at the property. I received a call from the supplier which was very direct and to the point, stating that the property had a leak which was losing 500 litres a day, they had tried to contact the landlord but had no response and that as I was now the tenant it was my responsibility to pay for and sort. After alot of frantic phone calls with the waterboard it turns out Leaders (and the Landlord) were fully aware of this issue prior to me signing the tenancy agreement but did not disclose this information to me. I had the keys to the property but refused to move in until this issue was sorted by the landlord, via Leaders. This issue went on for over 3 months. Every few days I followed up I was told by Leaders we can't get hold of the Landlord but I still anticipated to move in imminently and kept the keys expecting to do so not knowing this would go on for months.... this would later be used against me by Leaders and cost me thousands. After over 3 months of constant excuses about not being able to get hold of the Landlord, Leaders, at first, agreed this issue was known about by both parties, prior to me signing any agreement and supported the fact that I'd be rented the property misleadingly the explanation being "we thought the issue had been fixed" There whole attitude then changed when apparently there had been a huge mistake and in fact there was no leak, and because I'd kept hold of the keys I had to pay all the rent up to that point. As you can imagine I was very angry to say the least all I wanted to do is rent a property!! I was then led down a garden path by Leaders saying they would do everything for me to sort out but in fact did nothing and lied to me. At this point I had had enough and said I didn't want to move into the property, it was at this point when I returned the keys, demands for rent were made. After alot of back and forth Leaders told me the landlord was happy for me to step away (that was good of them!!!) As long as I paid the remarketing cost for the property of £500 and I would get my first month's rent and deposit back. I stupidly agreed to this and guess what I never received anything back and Leaders have recently, 14 months on, started chasing me for unpaid rent!! I set foot in the property once and it costs me financially and even more so mentally. A truly disgusting company who anablled a landlords to hide away and do nothing and then take my money. Please avoid so you do not get an experience like mine! Que, copy and paste response.

I'm in the process of buying a property through them and have been made to feel like a valued customer, with personal check ins and updates etc. Would highly recommend.

Meeting someone so personable and attentive to our details she was able to get us a mortgage in principle. From here she continued to fight our corner and had the reward of calling us to advise our Mortgage was granted. Can't thank her enough for the support she has shown and helping us on our journey,

18th Mar 2024 (11 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

24th Jul 2023 (10 mo. ago)Got my review removed on google because i didn't comment anything which is petty as hell ! so i'll be leaving my comment here with all the legit reviews as they seem to fake and remove any none 5 star reviews from their google account! Leaving a none comment doesnt equal a fake review ( even though my account was anonymous on google doesnt mean its a fake review FYI it was anonymous for reasons i cannot state publicly ) , its weird how im being treated and singled out while literal other reviews have no comments . This further proves to me they are a disguistng company that would only value their customers if you write a 4 or 5 star glowing review. My experience with this company was horrendous , and i continue to experince their horrendous and disguting treatment i will not be using them ever again . I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY unlesss you want to get treated like utter flith by them!

Denise, Steph, Ella and Dani were amazing from the start. Always there to answer and help with any questions I had. Seeing as I was selling this property on my own. Can’t thank the team enough! I even remember telling Dani to pour herself a glass of Prosecco one evening for helping me with something I was stuck with! Thank you too all x x

Every time we manage to speak to someone on the phone, we’re promised a call back that never happens. No one responds via email, and the whole process has been painfully slow from start to finish.
