13th Aug 2024 (26 days ago)We dealt with Kyle and Jack from Hamptons London City branch. They were absolutely excellent. Secured a sale for us within three days at full asking price!! The whole process was smooth and seamless. We would highly recommend them.

26th Aug 2024 (13 days ago)Avoid at all costs. Rented us a propeety with a broken boiler then failed to resolve for 3 months during the winter with a newborn in the house. Then had an illegal installation of a boiler by an unqualified person and denied any liability when i queried them on it. Then failed to carry out any pre tenancy works. When we pushed back they ignored all claims of liability and the landlord had to step in to clear up the mess. Acted without morals or professionalism throughout. Never encountered such a poor operation. Do not rent via this business.- 9th Aug 2024 (30 days ago)Poor poor service. The sale agent Carlos has only his own interest (or the seller) at heart, was not helpful, and slow response, and always made us feel, the buyer of the place, a burden. Any questions we had felt it was not responded correctly, or ignored so the buyer cannot find the true state of the home. It made the whole buying process painful. A feedback which we have shared to himself.

What really sets Simon apart is his friendly and genuine personality. He went above and beyond to ensure that we found the perfect flat, never rushing us or making us feel pressured. His dedication and commitment to helping us were evident every step of the way. We always felt like we were in good hands. He replied to all my questions quickly and precisely. Also when I had some problems with my bank account, he provided some suggestions to help me solve the problem.

Always attentive and a pleasure to deal with on the phone. We cannot recommend Freya more. She was a star!

It is obvious that the estate agents are motivated solely by the commission they earn and that they do not care about tenant experience. Expect an uphill battle with your landlord as this company will consistently disappoint you as they attempt to appease their primary source of income (landlords). The estate agent rushed us through mediocre properties when we were trying to find a flat, the property manager was combative at best when we tried resolving maintenance issues, our flat was not professionally cleaned upon move in (there were still dirty dishes still in the dishwasher) yet they required us to pay for a professional cleaning upon move out , and it was always evident when dealing with this agency that there is zero communication within a small office on rental issues.

Kate has been professional, kind and calm during the stressful process of buying and selling and was on hand night and day to answer questions and support us. We can’t thank her enough.

However, when you are a tenant they do not care about you at all. They were completely unhelpful when portions of the building were falling apart, and they gave me no contact information for the building manager. It was only because of a neighbor that I received the information we needed to literally enter the building. And when my heat went out in the middle of December, the only helpful solution I was provided was a link to a space heater, and the email was sent past 9pm when I tried to reach out at 2pm. The heating problem could have also been prevented if the agency listened to the recommendation of the man who came to inspect my gas and electric FOUR MONTHS prior to the incident.\ When I informed them that I would not be renewing my lease, they brought in several individuals to the apartment either without informing me OR informing me five minutes prior to their arrival, which is against the law. When I would refuse they would be extremely rude, and one lettings agent, Jamal, said that I was "much more pleasant when we first met" which was just unprofessional and uncalled for. Long story short, they will help you find a good place to leave, but after they have taken your money they won't care if you live or die.

We had a very tight deadline by which to get our house under offer and he got us a great offer by the deadline. He kept us updated throughout the process and he was really pleasant to our small children, making them at ease when there were so many people looking round the house. He did a great job and we are so grateful to him.
2nd Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)Rent from these people at your own risk.They offer the worst services ,send contractors into your apartment without your permission and when you complain they turn against you.I was forced to move out their property as I could not deal with the rudeness and poor treatment from staff.They started refurbishing my apartment with contractors running up and down the scaffolding and because I work nights,I had to start sleeping in a friends place during the day.And whenever I complained to them,they got rude.Even after I finally moved out,they completely kept my deposit silent and tried working with the landlord to retain the whole deposit.Now they try change their name from Madley thinking they can run away from all the bad deeds they have done.Use them at you own risk
18th Mar 2024 (25 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

2nd Sep 2024 (6 days ago)James and the team at Nielson Bauer sold my pretty but unrefurbished apartment in Angel for asking price - and fast, to the second viewer! Annabel was brilliant as my direct negotiator, keeping myself and the buyer clearly informed of the process, and ensuring any glitches, and there were a few, in the admin and processing of the sale, were dealt with really quickly and effectively! Highly recommend James and Annabel, they know Angel/Islington market, and the systems and administration problems you're likely to experience here, and help make the whole process painless - or as much as is possible. Very appreciative of their hard work to get my sale through quickly
24th Aug 2024 (15 days ago)Met a wonderful chap named Daniel who was utterly phenomenal to both me an my mum. For context, we jumped into the London flat market at one of the worst possible times in the year, so we were frantically moving between agencies trying to secure a place. Daniel was quick to show us our options and was incredibly patient whilst we inundated him with many (probably frustrating) questions. Additionally, even though I was the only one moving into London, he patiently entertained any concerns my mum had about the properties and was fully transparent about safety, a topic she was particularly interested in. For anyone new to the area, I cannot recommend Daniel enough.
