Arranged a viewing for a flat to purchase, left work earlier and once I got there, the agent did not have the keys to the flat and kept knocking on the door for 10 mins, hoping for someone to open the door. Eventually a neighbour came out informing us, the tenant was at work. I had to leave without viewing the property. Very disorganised - I would never use them again. Never received a call nor an email with an apology. No respect for customers' time.

13th Jun 2024 (14 weeks ago)I have rented a property with them for two years and throughout my time there Victoria has been a great help! Always prompt to reply to emails and with a good connection to the landlord, she always managed to sort any issues we had super promptly. If you can try and get her as your agent, because even if she is off she will make sure you have someone else to talk to who can sort stuff out for you.
25th Jul 2024 (8 weeks ago)I have never written a review for an estate agent but I had to write this. I cannot express enough how amazing Rochford Stokes has been as our letting agent. Right since the day I viewed the property (the manager Jason actually waited for a while as I was running late and then later also dropped me off as I was in a rush between viewings, have never received such kindness from London estate agents). They go above and beyond to help you. Their communication with us as tenants has been exceptionally good and considerate. We are only leaving the property as our landlords are selling the property. Even with the property sale, they have been so good to us and have treated us exceptionally well and not just like a number/tick box exercise as many estate agents in London do. Small things like keeping us updated at every stage, sending a Christmas card to us, and always understanding the tenant’s perspective while managing the landlord’s perspective speak volumes about their professionalism and dedication to providing the highest quality of customer service. Everything has been smooth and stress-free with them. In fact when we put an offer on the property, Jason never pressured us to bid more (like many agents do) and told us to put an offer we were comfortable with. I cannot recommend Rochford Stokes highly enough. They make you feel valued as tenants which is quite rare in London. I would definitely come back to them when I look to buy a property in the near future.

1st Aug 2024 (7 weeks ago)Thank you to Dawn and the team for sticking with what can only be described as a long and drawn out sale through no fault of Homecastle I might add. Other agents may well of given up but Homecastle didn't until the sale was over the line. Professional, polite and excellent communication at all times.

The agents are uninformed even about the basic details about the flat like the area measurements. We had a very unpleasant experience with them recently and would not suggest going for this viewing company.

Her attention to detail and efficiency on organizing the viewings, as well as her professionalism and diligence on making sure only suitable properties would be offered to me, made this search much smoother and less time consuming. Although I've managed to come to terms with my current Landlord and ended by renewing lease on my current flat, I appreciate her time and availability during the past weeks and would not hesitate on recommending her services to any friends who need to rent a new flat in London. This took so long that when the day of the viewing arrived, the property already got an offer and they cancelled the viewing 2h before it was supposed to happen. All the employees seem very young and not experienced in sales.
