7th May 2024 (19 weeks ago)Rude estate agents who turn their noses up at those on dss, my daughter is getting dss due to having a baby and going back to work part time. Ashame really as I've put into the system, my parents have too and to make a person feel dreadful for claiming something not knowing their background is disgraceful, discriminative and dam right rude. Try talking to the council as they advise to rent privately! Do not use this estate agent as they clearly do not understand the current housing issue or care!

28th Feb 2020 (4 years ago)ARQ Homes Estate Agent was recommended to me to get a lettings valuation's appraisal for my house. Also, following the reading of good reviews from other people, I was confident and encouraged to make an appointment with ARQ Homes. I spoke with Abdul who invited me to his office, and made feel more than just a client, I felt like a guest in his ARQ estate agent. Abdul was very clear and concise covering all the details in order to give me an honest an accurate valuation appraisal. Abdul also used his valuable experience and knowledge in the housing market, in order to give me a good advice how to proceed with my plan for both potential lettings and sales of my property. Abdul's advice has definitely put me on the the right directions in order to achieve the best possible outcome in relation to my property. There attitudete to safety in high rise bukldings is appalling,there staff are un qualified and the owner Taj is criminally neglegent time and time again! If you give him information he doesnt like or doesnt want to accept and repair he stops paying contractors! Appalling

28th Mar 2020 (4 years ago)After struggling to sell my house I stumbled upon Big Black Hen. I decided to call them for an initial chat. I found them to be very professional, knowledge and they have me some great tips in order to finally sell my home. We went ahead with Big Black Hen and there suggestions and hey presto, our house sold. Ive since recommend Big Black Hen to my friends and family. Great service

21st Nov 2023 (9 mo. ago)I was a bit disappointed with the advertising. The property was placed on Zoopla, but not on Rightmove as promised. When I enquired, I was told that there were technical issues but will soon be resolved. This did not happen and it was not advertised on Rightmove during the whole period. Additionally, I felt as if I needed to make contact with the agent first before any thing was actioned. For example, receiving paperwork, amendments to photos amendments to add wording etc. I would consider using Aston Fox again as I did like Matthew and his overall approach, however I found the rest of the staff lacking the same enthusiasm and ethos.

The staff member I interacted with was very rude and impatient, and abruptly hung up the phone during our conversation, which was both unprofessional and discouraging. Furthermore, I felt that their behavior towards me was discriminatory based on my race, which is completely unacceptable in any setting, especially in professional interactions. I would not recommend this agency due to the poor customer service and disrespectful treatment I experienced.

After waiting over 5 months for the vendor to provide a building certificate requested by my lender, they withdrew as soon as I began the process of arranging inspections to be carried out. The boiler hadn’t been serviced in years, despite the negotiator, Jack, assuring me during the viewing that it was 'regularly serviced.' My buyer’s report recommended I conduct checks, as the only boiler record was from 2010—back when I was still in secondary school! Once the report was provided to me end of August 2024, I immediately worked to get the inspections booked in with the agent. I was informed that the vendor was unhappy as I had my mortgage offer since end of July 2024. I informed the agents that my conveyancer has completed their due diligence and strongly advised I get these inspections done before exchange. Exchange which I was positive would be set to take place by latest end of September pending the inspections all coming back clear. When I raised this, Joe, the managing director, remarked, 'Your conveyancer should have advised you to do this check sooner,' which came across as both unprofessional and condescending. To top it off, the vendor has now relisted the property with a £35k price increase. The behaviour from both the vendor and the agent felt like pure intimidation and bullying.

And jolly its the worst and terrible in her job Been renting a property from Aj Dwelling for over 4 year and it has been a nightmare. Damage do not get fixed easily, always have to waiting ages and they will do a small fix or most of the works I do it by myself, . But they careless. I am so upset and disappointed with Aj Dwellings&Jolly . Stay away from this fraud agency and keep your stress out,!
