6th Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)Our experience with this estate agency has been extremely disappointing. They proposed a property to us that had significant restrictions, which they failed to disclose. We only discovered these issues six months later through our solicitors. The agency’s customer service is appalling. Every time I called, I was told the manager was on another call and would return my call, which never happened. Their communication is minimal, with infrequent email replies merely stating that matters are being “chased.” We are now more than six months into the process with no clear timeline, no information about potential chains, and no idea what is happening. Avoid this agency at all costs!
17th Jul 2024 (8 weeks ago)Valuation and marketing appear to be on a par with other local agents, however communication was poor. There were significant delays with the sale of my property, not necessarily due to the agent, but it did place my ongoing purchase in jeopardy. I will say that my sale was transferred to a different branch who dealt with the process much more efficiently and was key in ensuring the sale was completed.

From start to finish, the process was smooth, efficient, and highly professional. Natalia have been absolutely fantastic and showed our house 4 times and follow through the process and gave us options for other suitable properties to us. 22nd Aug 2024 (17 days ago)Posted on behalf of my Mother: Following a family bereavement my family and I had to sell a house in Heston, Middlesex. A number of local estate agents were approached but we chose to use Shaw & Co. as the manager, Shiv Sahonta, was so impressive. Shiv Sahonta visited to give a valuation and, with great experience of the area, he suggested an asking price that was realistic and honest. He was very professional, friendly and punctual. Living 150 miles away our situation was a little unusual but we were able to discuss it easily with him and felt confident to leave the sale in his hands. In the event, a number of prospective buyers were soon found and the house was quickly sold. The manager and his staff were very efficient, keeping us fully informed at all times. Being so far away we could not easily go and take meter readings, etc. so Shiv personally went to the house to deal with all outstanding matters. We received a first class service. For anyone buying or selling property in the Heston, Middx. area we would whole heartedly recommend this company.

Her attention to detail and efficiency on organizing the viewings, as well as her professionalism and diligence on making sure only suitable properties would be offered to me, made this search much smoother and less time consuming. Although I've managed to come to terms with my current Landlord and ended by renewing lease on my current flat, I appreciate her time and availability during the past weeks and would not hesitate on recommending her services to any friends who need to rent a new flat in London. 23rd Aug 2024 (16 days ago)R Whitley & Co were the agents for the sellers of the house we bought. They are an awesome agency. We were looking in the area they work in so we crossed paths more than once during our house search. a shout out to mary-joy who was accommodating and answered all our queries and followed up on things for us when we were most picky, and a special thank you from the heart to tony. tony was following up with our solicitor to make sure things are done on time and called to check up on things and I think if it wasn't for him things would have stalled. he is an outstanding agent who came after we moved to show me things around the house and even tought me how to use the electric shower and opened the water valves for us. We are truly so grateful and thankful. a very personal approach that makes this agency truly amazing. We can't thank them enough for all they did.

They supported us throughout the process and simply couldn’t have made it any easier. We have moved many times and whilst Avocado are not cheapest they are by far the best agents we have ever worked with. Thank you Dan and Neil for making it as pain free as moving ever can be.

12th Jul 2024 (8 weeks ago)I don't know where to start!!! James did what I thought was impossible! He moved my in laws to a new home - but it took 2 years! With a probate on both sides and multiple delays due to ill health in the family, lease extensions and questions upon questions they finally moved! James is one of the most patient people I know and has provided support to my in laws over and above what he needed to. He gave them the confidence to move from a home they were in for over 35 years. His constant communication always put them at ease and provided assurance when they needed it the most. They needed to be in a bungalow close to family and that's exactly where they are now and are extremely happy. Thanks to James for make the impossible possible!
