16th Aug 2024 (23 days ago)We are in the process of finding a new home for our family, and have found the branch team's services, and Fran Glancy in particular, excellent. Fran has fully considered our property requirements (unlike a lot of estate agents that seem to want to bombard you with every property they have on their books!), have provided us with regular updates with regards on potential properties and has been a reassuring voice, in what can be a stressful time. I would thoroughly recommend Fran and her teams services to those looking and selling their property in Dorking and the surrounding areas.

A great experience as a buyer, led by Frank and supported by other colleagues throughout the viewing process. Clear and regular communication throughout, which made the purchase side of things very smooth and stress free for us during a tricky and often difficult chain beneath us. Would certainly use Patrick Gardner again when the time comes, and would highly recommended. A nice touch of a card and flowers upon collecting the keys to our new home. Dan provided excellent feedback on how best to market my flat and made the correct call on the valuation that would ensure a speedy sale (very important when your flat is vacant and you are paying a mortgage). Adam the sales manager has kept me informed throughout the sticky process of selling a leasehold and got it all over the line as soon as we were all ready to exchange. I have no hesitation in recommending Ralph James to any buyers or sellers out there … they stand out amongst a sea of other estate agents in the area!

18th Mar 2024 (25 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

My Estate Agents Jason, Max and Chris are hands down incredible! My experience and the service we received was Brilliant. The greatest aspects were the utter devotion to communication and they always had our best interests at heart. All three were on hand to answer every one of our questions, they are more than effective and more than efficient. Max and Chris have been the boots on the ground, showing people around and sold our property, so helpful and so friendly, we are so grateful to them and we will never forget you! Jason, the Area Sales Manager, completed the initial Valuation and the Post Sale process. Jasons levels of Service are second to none, always on hand, always communicating and pushing the 3rd parties every inch of the way. To call him a superman would be an understatement, the words I would use is "Greatest Of All Time". To ALL the Team at Kaybridge, we thank you so much for everything.

We were unsure about whether to go with Laurels, having only heard about and reached out to them after their letterbox drop...but were instantly impressed by their work ethic and style. Josh was honest, proactive, really responsive and communicated well. We would highly recommend Laurels to anyone looking for an agent committed to achieving the best outcome for their clients! 28th Jul 2024 (6 weeks ago)Im not one for such negative reviews but avoid this estate agents !!! I’m astonished how this branch has such high ratings as separate experiences as a tennant and prospective buyer have been nothing short of appalling. As a tennant coming up for renewal, the negotiation agent ghosted. For months. We had to chase multiple times over email and phone for over 2 months! When ringing the branch and saying the name the handler on the other side said this negotiation agent had had complaints by multiple other tennants waiting & it had been raised with her manager but she had gone on annual leave for a few weeks & cases had not been handled to someone else. When chasing with her manager we had to wait another 3 weeks. We contemplated emailing the landlord directly to tell him this because quite honestly not worth the fee the landlord is paying from our rent. If you get Mia Bearne at the branch I would suggest asking for someone else or taking your business elsewhere depending if you’re a tennant or landlord. How someone still has a job with multiple complaints against them I don’t know. It was her & realising she worked at this branch that sparked the need to write this review after the following has also previously happened here…. Noah, although kind, was similarly awful. I was looking at a property which on auction joint with Pattersons. At the time in their window it said nothing about the property being on auction. To be honest I think they did the seller of the property a huge disservice in bad advice on the both the price, the strategy and then telling him to do it by auction. It would have sold way more quickly & simply with a slightly lower price and without the auction. The communication between the auction house and Noah wasn’t great and I was hounded by both men in the middle of the working day multiple times days in a row. Noah said he would get back to me on something. He never did. I went into branch to chat to him, a colleague took my email and number for him to follow up which never happened. We then ended up in the bizarre scenario where the property was both for sale on the auction site and had already been let, with a let agreed by the Woking branch. What’s worse is I had to tell both the west byfleet branch and the auction house of this as I found it on Rightmove as let agreed whilst it was still on sale. This was news to all the others involved. As a seller it seems they give you poor advice & if they suggest the auction with pattinsons I suggest you run a mile. As a landlord they ghost good tennants of 0 information during contract renewal and as a result really don’t deserve the fee you pay them. As a buyer similarly extremely poor in communication & have no clue what’s going on amongst themselves between branches. From these multiple separate bad experiences I would suggest everyone simply takes their business elsewhere to somewhere better.
